2025-09-07 07:04:34 +0000 UTCFor what it's worth, the Netflix translation of this show is very very good in English. Unfortunately Spanish and French no-homo some bits. For instance, in the first episode Hikaru says "I like you" in the English subtitles, which is a perfectly fine translation of "suki." In Spanish, he says "me caes muy bien," which is like...."I think you're neat" or basically "i fw you" which is.....absurd. It's become a massive meme in the Spanish-speaking fandom for this show because it's a strictly platonic-sounding phrase (and also inaccurate to both the Eng subtitles and JP original audio.)
