I'm somewhat sure my theory last episode was correct, based on the data we got this episode. It's clearly a post-apocalyptic pseudo-magic setting, w/ Edthea basically being a theme park of sorts w/ artificially created lifeforms (i.e the 5 "human" races + Dark Beasts). The forge sequence looked pretty sci-fi at least w/ the stereotypical sci-fi light lines & the interior's look. Also I suppose the E1 lectern in front of the door should have been a dead giveaway, given how sci-fi it looked, mechanism wise. Basically it's one of those "become a hero & defeat the ebil bad guy bossman", hence the Hero Legend's existence, because it's intended for the fr humans to larp in a fantasy setting & assblasting Dark Beast Lords (which I presume is the reason why Dark Beast Lords transfer their memory data to their successors normally, unlike what happened w/ Clevatess 1000 years ago or so). I've read/watched too many series w/ similar types of background settings so my instincts are screaming that this is one of those after the data we got these past 2 episodes.

2025-09-11 18:14:17 +0000 UTCThis episode really deepens the world man, the queen asks so many interesting questions that I never even thought to ask, but all are intriguing in their own right. Honestly, it reminds me a bit of Deca-Dence in how the world is developed, idk why specifically.
