The thing with Akkun being caught in the trash can is just his youth. Akkun hasn't learned how to control the ability to phase through solid objects yet. As for Nazuna's parents, the story played it completely straight. Nazuna is a Dhmpire, and half vampire born from the union of a human and a vampire. They have existed in folklore for centuries. That's also why Ko becomes a half vampire instead of a full vampire. Ko is already in love with Nazuna. But as a Dhmpire, Nazuna can't make normal vampire offspring. Ko is a half vampire and just has to learn how to control his vampire half. Which we will only see if they make a third season. But he will never become a normal vampire, only a half vampire who walks in both worlds. He will have all the powers of a vampire and none of the vampire weaknesses. Basically like Blade.

2025-09-20 23:21:43 +0000 UTCI really like Anko. She acknowledged that her plans would never have worked but she was trapped in her quest of revenge. Additionally her looking back on the time she "wasted" resonated quite a bit with me. However there were a bunch of things i did not like. 1. Nazunas "parents". They came out of nowhere and then just got killed off screen. Why did they get killed? Who did it? If there is someone out there trying to kill vampires why did the not hunt the other ones? I also believe that Nazuna and Haru are just the same person because that feels a lot more satisfying than the alternative. 2. The vampires get attacked but NEVER try to use phones or other means to communicate with the other vampires? That felt so weird to not even try to gather all of them to then eliminate the threat together. Additionally we saw the offspring literally scratch part of the wall of with his fingers but was unable to break free of a trash bin? They also were unable to catch up with the detective even though they are physically superior or even try to use the high ground to scout instead of searching on the ground. 3. Anko was able to dig up information about people from 50-60 years ago and was then able to pinpoint where their weakness is. Still not that believable especially information about someone so long ago that was a normal person and not a celebrity. It was totally understandable that she was able to get information about the first Vampire we saw her kill, because he was only turned 10 years ago, but the further in the past the information is the less is available because there was not information gathering in the past like we have today. These are my 3 biggest problems with the season even though i love the vampires, their relationship with one another and their offspring. I liked that Anko was pretty realistic about her approach knowing it would not work but was unable to break free of her revenge. Personally I did not need this whole Anko as opposition plot point even though i love the addition of Anko.
