I did see it in the cinema, but my recollection is that critically, it didn't quite land. It has somewhat of a cult following now, but most people just didn't get it at the time of its release.

If you liked this one (about to watch your reaction now so I dont know) I think you'd like that it's very campy, funny and her whole shtick was looking like Vampira (B movie actress from that era).ok, now on to Mars Attacks!!
