starting november, Apple will be applying their 30% App Store fee to all new memberships purchased in the Patreon iOS app
you can avoid this extra fee by making any patreon related payment through a desktop/website or an android device, NOT THE iOS APP.
Also Any creator currently on first-of-the-month or per-creation billing plans will have to switch over to subscription billing to continue earning in the iOS app, because thatβs the only billing type Appleβs in-app purchase system supports. This won't have any effect on current patrons. Only new and returning members.
