Covid & Mac IIGS

Last week I ended up getting covid-19 from my daughter, who got it from her grandmother, who got it at a yard sale for really cheap.

It was hard going for that week, but my daughter and I snuggled the entire time, which aside from feeling like hell, was enjoyable as we watched Abominable, Coco, Big Hero 6, and Encanto on repeat. My daughter knows the words to every song in Coco and Encanto by heart!

I stopped by our Discord a few times to keep the gang up to date on my battle and managed to enjoy a few hours in voice chat with the guys while helping black box hack an America Online client on a Mac IIGS VM. I want to say "we" here but it was mostly Tommy that eventually got us to the welcome screen you see in the image above.

Even while sick we're still working on the project!

I'm finally over covid, and needless to say, my daughter has gone back to playing with her friends completely forgetting I exist again until she needs a few bucks for a treat, ah, kids, amazing little creatures, and so resilient!

Yesterday was the first good day of solid coding since covid finally let me alone, it was a good day.
