Digi legs study
Added 2023-03-27 19:21:52 +0000 UTCDid some digitigrade studies for an upcoming tutorial! I first looked at real animals and drew their legs ( I draw right to left bc I'm a lefty) And then applied that understanding to anthro + human refs.
This is just the precurser to the full tutorial but my biggest take away was the S like shape in the middle, that all of these legs followed no matter how stylized/ close to human the legs were. Plantigrade/ human legs dont have this shape really, but the anatomical structures are similar. (you can see I made notes equating animal anatomy to humans as an easier way to think about it.)
Full "how I draw" tutorial should come next week!

2023-03-28 02:12:35 +0000 UTCAlso another thing I noticed! The longer you make the "calf" the more humanoid it will look- shorter makes for a more prominent digi leg but the foot will become longer to compensate
