Harshville Version 1.0.2 Preview

Hey everyone, just putting some finishing touches on this week's build.

During the last content poll you guys voted for Shireen as the first character featured in the up and coming relationship system. She happens to be my favorite as well, so I'm pretty excited for this update!

1.0.2 begins Shireen's relationship arc, and it happens in a whole new area too! You can find Shireen hanging out at the Green Cafe, which is on the ground floor of the New Ark Building in Downtown Pleasantview. Yes, that's a lot of new content!

I've been on one of those creative binges lately so there's a lot of new surface level content for you guys to play with (and that I want to give a more detailed treatment to later).

Shireen is pretty difficult to romance right now, and I made that intentional since let's face it, she's a pretty difficult person in general :D. If you're desperate for a guide on how to do it though feel free to message me.

On a related note, how would you feel about an Iron Man type mode for Harshville? This is basically a mode where anything you do is autosaved and you can only have one save file. It prevents "save-scumming", or loading a playthrough and trying different things without any consequences. I don't actually know how feasible this is in RPG Maker but I'd investigate it if people are interested.

This update also fixes a minor yet pretty funny bug in the Mines. If you know what I'm talking about ;)

I'll try to get this out asap (and include Mac and Android executables)

I have no idea how hard it would be to implement, if its easy I'd like that mode as an option (not a requirement). If it is more than a little bit of work I'd rather have more content worked on first. :)

Nice one! Can't wait to see the new build, it looks awesome already. With regards to the saving question, I would say just keep it as it is mate. People have the option to play the game however they want, so if they want to save multiple times in order to make the game easier that's up to them. Truthfully, I save multiple times so I can go back and choose different paths and different choices. But yeah, seems like too much effort for something that's really not that exciting really.
