Her gist is she is a literal rose manifested. She was sew by death himself, and he tended to her every day because she was the most beautiful flower, and so one day he could claim her. However she was stolen from the garden by a [I dunno yet] to be whisked away. Her savior then dips her in gold so that she'll never age and death won't be able to claim her but then she's immortal forever and they fall in love.
That's the idea as of yet :P
