admittedly i didnt have time for this but i took it anyway. i think i needed to feel an artistic win before the year was over. i really want to push my illustrations more, ive been feeling like im not regularly giving it my all or breaking new ground. im happy with this one, and want to do more large illustrations. this may be my last big piece of the year, so i want to thank you for supporting me through it. i know i say it but i dont say it enough, i couldnt have gotten through the year without the support i get here. its the bedrock of my living, and i feel lucky to have the support i have.

i decided to try making a timelapse out of this one--its not something i do often because my ipad cant handle the resulting file size without exploding, but since i did most of this on my computer i was able to give it a go. it definitely bogs the file down but not too badly, so i think ill do it more!

two parts because the first one was done on my ipad, but thats about as far as i can get with a color illustration before the exploding happens. i experimented with some 3d models and boy, i need to do that more. i never really realized how decent clip was at handling them. very handy
