T&D: Room Service p16-18

the boys are back and theyre being dramatic

hey, its been a minute! hope you guys have been doing well, there's been a lot going on on my end.

firstly, i hope youve been enjoying the comic so far! i know its been slow going but im hoping i can do something about that soon. this story is far from over but we've officially completed aboutttt 20%! it feels good to be making progress on a longer narrative and ive learned so much in the process. here's where im at:

the next part of Room Service is going to have a whole new scene and new characters, and theres some more extensive planning such as gathering bg material, character designs, stronger thumbnails, and some dialog reworking that i need to do before i feel good jumping into it. i dont want to go on a long pause while im working on that, so currently ive been working through a final version of some thumbnails for a different (more overtly) nsfw short comic that we're going to get through before i pick this one up again. i think you guys will like it! its close to ready for final production and overall i think its going to be much faster to draw. porns a little more straight forward haha

overall im really looking forward to it all!

another big change in my life has been picking up a part time job and its been a nice change of stability thats been welcoming. its one of those jobs i can completely unplug from when im not at work and that alone has been very nice--im so used to mentally juggling the business of art 24/7. im definitely still in my 'getting the hang of it' era and im usually pretty tired, but ill also still have 3 day weekends which will be perfect for art. im hoping this starts a new phase where i spend a lot less time on commissions and more time on whatever i want to do personally.

thanks for being so patient with me while i work through this transitional time! i dont think ill finish the final thumbnail & layout draft for the upcoming nsfw comic this weekend, but i think i could be close or finished by the end of next weekend. thats honestly the hardest part for me, and why im hopeful we'll be picking up speed. stay tuned for more t&d comics in the near future :^)
