Unhoused just sounds like politician-speak to make homelessness more palatable and obscure it. Homeless properly conveys the turmoil and suffering that often accompanies it.

If we all hop off the euphemism treadmill together, it'll make it easier to just use normal words normally. We shouldn't assume people are so fragile they'll get offended over a benign term, and we shouldn't assume people are so cruel that their use of a benign word must hide a hidden intent to offend.
