Monday's updates #49

We are back! And on Mondays!

Holidays are over and I'm back on working regularly. But I think the most important thing is I've changed my editing/post-processing style. The renders (both images and animations) from now will be less harsh and have more softer light all around. For images the changes will be done in Photoshop and for animations I'm gonna add the bloom and glare effects with the compositor.

One of my goals for 2025 is to get better at post-processing (editing pics in Photoshop). And here's some of the progress done on that - using Cheryl for comparison. Left is the original 2024 image, right is the new one. I did not actually change anything inside Blender for this (except the hair), just different editing style, but IMO I think it looks a lot better, so expect this type of more softer lighting for all future works!

And since we're on the Cheryl subject, here's what you can expect in part 6! Planning to finish this as well as part 7 (Joey taking a pic of her on the bed) this week and post it the next one. Will have 7 parts in total with around 25 images!

Also finished a Haddie project that was in my WIP folder for a few weeks. Funnily enough its also featuring Joey. And just like the Cheryl, will have a little different style than what I've used for the past 2 years. More softer lighting. As well as added her boots thrown on the ground and the headset fell down next to her!

And it would not be me if I didn't do a quick Zarina pic in between everything xD Added her upcoming dungeon and dragons skin and will do something with the mimic chest. This time, the chest is trapped under the ground, but the tongue can still reach >:) Alongside her, I'll also do a version for Elodie and one for Aestri!

In terms of upcoming content, this night I'm gonna post the Haddie pic and also the art trade which I've posted on twitter (Lilith from Diablo 4). Didn't do a separate post for that here since I thought most of you aren't that interested in her.

And after this, most likely the Cheryl ministory alongside the Observer poll winners. Ada won the poll and for my choice its gonna be either Kate or Elodie. Not sure yet xD
