Monday's updates #65

Delayed 1 day because I wanted to finish the Rain model too XD Pic below!

I've finished the intro for Thalita/Clown, which turned out to be exactly 1 minute long. So once again the intro will probably be longer than the segs scenes, but oh well xD Its a nice plot and also quite funny. Thalita going for a drink on a hot summer day and Clown coming in while she left, sniffing her flip flops and then plotting how to lure her into the ice cream truck xD Here's a GIF of the intro (Eevee, less quality) as well as a pic in Cycles, closer to the final result, where the glass bottles and lighting overall is better

And some VERY important news, mostly for animations. After struggling for 3 years with the neck seam I FINALLY FIXED IT. For people interested, the way I'm doing my models (via headhack) leaves a weird line in between the torso and head, which in still images is pretty easy to fix in Photoshop, but in animations its a real challenge to try and hide. Especially for girls with short hair and male models. But now this isn't an issue anymore! Fixed using vertex painting, was quite easy once I got the idea xD Here's a before and after pic of it!

Because all the things I'm left with in terms of commissions are animations (and all long ones), figured I should do some images to post in the meantime, so I've reworked my Artist model and done something with her and Nea, since both were featured very little here. Here's a WIP

And I've also done some more models in this time, the reason I delayed this post was to finish the Rain Carradine model (the girl from Alien who is an Ellen legendary skin). The DBD model looks really bad, but in Blender she looks way closer to the original, so I assume its just bad facial animations from BHVR. Anyways here she is, will do a welcoming pic of her soon too!

The next post here will be the Nea/Artist pic with a few alt angles and also the Observer alts from last poll. The winning render was the Oni/Yui katana-on-throat-soles-on-balls pic. Yun-Jin won the alt poll and as my own choice I'm gonna do Elodie. And also a Zarina version cause I did that already xD So Yun/Elodie/Zarina and Nea/Artist sometime this week!
