Shinigami can go further distances if they want. Its not that deep they just do it. Ryuk came to watch his death note. Rem came to watch misa so they dont leave much. But if they please they can

I don't know enough about Japan's justice system, but if it were in America, Light would get a jury and I think it could swing either way. I'd say they don't have enough to prove beyond a reasonable doubt, but the fear of Kira and L's reputation might tip the scales. Some jury members may even want to protect Kira, though. It'd be a fun alternate universe to explore.

I think the 99% convicito nrate is not just the court system but also due to police only bringing cases to court when they're almost certain they'll go through so you can't necessarily jsut throw anything with decnet-ish evidence at the court and expect that conviction rate to hold up

I guess, technically, cringe, even if that word is mostly used slightly differently today

she did it by nodding but that only works if hte shinigami asks you if you want to give up the death note
rem did aks that but light can't rely on ryuk asking him when he needs him to

She is bonded up and light isnt due to L has physical evidence on her and not light it was his choice. Its admittedly not a good reason cause they do sexualize it but its the shows reason. I think L in character wouldve bounded her more modestly. That's just head cannon tho

Where was it shown Rem could go further distances? Had Misa not already given up the death note at that point?

For the typical anime watcher sure, but for the analytical mind that likes a psychological thriller there is nothing boring about it. Slow? Sure it can be, but its rewardingly executed with beautiful payoffs. I dont even need to mention the themes involved. Also post painter germany's societal issues are super interesting from a psychological and political perspective. Stein's gate is great too but in my opinion does not match monster. Also saying something that is not mainstream is over hyped is a bit of a contradiction as then in theory it would be mainstream. Its a hidden gem of a show and right down SWS ally.

When you talked recap about misa and light your intonation remind me Labririan YouTube 🙃
"..Light might as well..."

Steins;Gate was good. Monster is way too overhyped. It’s okay at best and totally boring at worst.

yeah, so they meant for you to guess there are new victims under those sudden new killings. Also would be really happy about either, Monster or Steins;Gate. Death Note and Steins;Gate are my favorite Anime. And Monsters location with your special insights in german history would be fun to watch as well :)
