Goal Rewards
Added 2018-11-17 08:25:25 +0000 UTCQuick Apologies for my absence over the last couple of days, unfortunately I still have to work my regular job which is usually flexible, but can at some points really gets in the way. Ultimately it's up to me to figure out the best way to manage my time and work around it, but some times there's just not a lot of free time to manage in the first place. Anyway, I'm back now, and I'll try to get that Special Forces sneak peek out for $10 Patrons tomorrow.
Thank you guys so much for your recent support! It honestly means the world to me. I didn't expect to reach my first $100 goal by this point, so it's amazing to see how many people have shown an interest in the game so far and have decided to support me.
I've been meaning to make a post like this since we hit the $750 goal, but you guys hit the $1000 goal before I had the chance! I wanted to take the time to explain how the bonus rewards for reaching those goals will work since obviously, they'll take time to implement, and time is always a limited resource when on a monthly schedule.
I'll break it down into those that haven't been delivered on yet.
$500 Goal: Tiffany's new outfit
We reached this goal quite a while ago, and I've been taking suggestions for it here and on the discord server. Obviously, giving Tiffany a new outfit is going to take a lot of time away from the new content, so while I'm committed to adding a new outfit for her and letting you guys vote on it's design. The most important thing will always be delivering upon what the $5+ patrons have voted on for the next version's content. So basically, this one won't be added until it gets enough votes in the monthly content poll, otherwise I can't justify spending the time on it right now. I hope this makes sense.
$750 Goal: Bonus Episode With Ali
This is another reward that will unfortunately have to wait until $5+ Patrons decide that this is what they want me to focus on. It's the sort of thing that will take one month/one entire version to implement, as a bare minimum. The idea being that you'll get to choose a girl (but preferably Ali) and get to play as her on one of the days before Tiffany arrived in the town of Ashton Lake. I am thinking the best way to implement this will be via a flashback sequence when you first meet Ali and she tells you her story. You'll get to play as her and there will e one or two sex scenes and some quests/combat etc. Basically an extra part of the game, not a separate spinoff. But since I'd need to make a lot of new images for Ali, and also do a lot of coding to set up systems for switching payer characters on top of renders. I expect that to take 1-2 months in total, at least at my current production speed.
$1000 Goal: SFX & Voice Acting #1
This one is a little different, It requires a lot less time from me, so it's not something that needs to be voted on in order to be implemented. Though, I won't have time to implement it for v0.03, I will definitely be starting to add this in v0.04 on-wards. But what does this mean, and why is it '#1'? Well, obviously this is an expensive task, and time consuming for the person recording the lines, especially when considering that this game is a branching story, with lots of different dialogues depending on the options chosen by the player including what Tiffany is a slut for, etc. So it's not like the game is suddenly going to be fully voice acted and with superior sound effects by the v0.04, that's just not reasonable, plus not something I can afford. Instead, this will be a slow process. I will start with finding someone who fits the voices of Tiffany and have the combat lines recorded as they're the most repeated lines in the game, as well as some generic moans/sex noises that can be used during the sex scenes, since the girl's voice is the main thing missing. Then we'll continue to build from there, voice more lines, etc. And eventually moving on to casting new girls, like Ali and Hitomi etc.
This tier also includes improving the other sounds used, during the sex scenes, but obviously the voice acting is the most anticipated and exciting one. Anyway, just letting people know that I'll be starting to look for a voice actress for Tiffany after I've finished work on v0.03.
So why '#1'? Well, I'm not sure at what price tier yet, but one of the future goals will be "SFX & Voice Acting #2". So when we reach that Goal, I will be able to spend more money on commissioning more lines from actresses/actors. It basically just means more lines faster. But until then, the main focus will be on Tiffany and her general and main story lines with others coming later/when I can afford it.
$1500 Goal: Second PC
This is the newest goal that I've just added. It might be a while before we reach it. But, I've been wanting to get a second PC for a while now. Primarily so I can increase my render output. When I render an image, my PC comes to a halt since it's using all of it's processing power to render that image. This means I can't even work on the game or set up the next renders while I wait. My PC just becomes too unresponsive. It's really annoying, especially when I have limited free time, if a render is going to take 4 hours and I can't do anything but wait in the meantime. Anyway, reaching this goal will mean I can start saving reliably for that second PC and can get it within 2-3 months of reaching that goal.
Alright, that's all for now. I just wanted to clarify those things for anyone who was confused or wandering how/when these things were going to be implemented. Leave any questions if you've got them, I should be able to respond normally again. Like I said, I'll be working on that $10 sneak peek for tomorrow, thanks for your patience.

Hi, are you referring to the male npc’s/zombies, females or both? In anycass, I don’t currently have any plans to implement muscle growth as one of the body changes that Tiffany can undergo.

2018-11-23 06:57:01 +0000 UTCThe games really good so far, though I wouldn't mind having a muscle growth feature implemented for the npc's and zombies.

2018-11-23 03:35:58 +0000 UTCDont get me wrong, I like having a game voiced as well. Often times I just feel like the creator spends to much time on the voices and the rest of the product suffers. But I feel like you´ ll get a great balance between adding scenes and spending resources on VA. And you´ re totally right about not being able to buy more time haha :D

2018-11-17 14:37:50 +0000 UTCThat's fair enough, I'll try and have an option to disable the voices for those who don't want them. However, for me, it's something that adds great value that I'd love to add even if it's just in a small capacity or only for the main girls. The priority will always be on adding new scenes and content to the game, but incorporating extra content like this is something that excites me, and is really one of the only things I can add to the game that doesn't take the majority of my time away from development. I can't buy extra time to work on the game, so I may as well put that money towards extra features instead, to improve the experience for those who want it.

2018-11-17 09:58:54 +0000 UTCReally happy about your success so far. However, I am not much of a fan of Voice Acting in that kind of game. It often does not add enough value for the time/money it takes up, in my opinion. Anyway, I am excited for what you give us next!

2018-11-17 09:49:50 +0000 UTCI understand you want to have another and hopefully beter pc than what you currently have, because not only will it make everything faster(hopefully:D) but also give you more free time so you dont get overly stressed with working all the time on your job or with the terminal desires. Lets hope you reach the goal pretty fast so it will make things easier and everyone benefits from it.. :D
