Updated 2019-2020 Development Roadmap

Hey everyone,

First off, I just wanted to apologize for the lack of "weekly update" posts that everyone can access. They should start up again now on a weekly basis once again. When working with v0.07, there were a lot of aspects I didn't want to spoil, like the fact that you'd be pitted against the casino characters, or that some would/could die. There will unfortunately be even more secrecy going into v0.08 as I have a few story surprises I don't want to ruin, so I don't know how many images I am going to be sharing each week, but I will endeavor to try my best and make a weekly update post that contains at least 1 new exciting preview image each week. Of course I will still; be doing sneak peek images roughly once per week for special forces patrons too, but those might get a little more spoilery, idk yet. We'll play it by ear. I may decide to spill some of the beans as we get closer to the release date.

But what's in v0.08? And the following versions? And when will they all be done? Well, I can answer the first two, but as we all know I'm terrible at predicting release dates. I've given some grim but probably realistic release date predictions. I hope to return to schedule of 1 update per month as soon as possible, but there's just so much content I want to include between v0.08 and v0.12 that I don't know how that's going to be possible unless I divide the releases into smaller more manageable bites (which I might do, but we'll have to wait). For now, these are roughly my plans for the foreseeable future of Terminal Desires: 

V0.08 (Medium update)

ETA: Early- Mid December 2019

Includes:

• Morning of Day 3.
• First possible body growth (from Robert/Milburn pregnancy or ‘Lactivate’ pill).
• New sex scene featuring either Andre or Kiana (Depending on who, if either, still lives)
• New sex scene with Tiffany, Lara & an infected boss...  
• New Zombie type (Bestial zombie) with 1 combat sex scene.
• Re-rendering combat sex scenes with Tiffany’s new body types for these enemy types: Male zombie, Female zombie, Sewer zombie, Alpha Zombie, potentially more if time…
• A new ‘stealth’ system… (will be something fun :P)
• Add frag grenades as a rare (but powerful) consumable weapon type.  
• Conclusion of the Casino story content.
• Potentially a short, zombie glory hole scene if time…
• Some other small but fun things that I don’t want to spoil…
• Other fixes & improvements.

Not much more to say here, lots of little things I'd like to do but it all depends on time. Number one goal is to get this one out on time. That's why most of the gameplay/feature improvements like the long requested "scene gallery" is being pushed back to v0.09 so I can make this deadline. If certain, nonessential things get in the way, they'll be cut or pushed back. I would like to be done in time to take at least a 1 week break during Christmas/New year. Though If possible I hope to finish way before that.

For the most part, the re-rendered combat sex scenes will be the same as existing scenes, just with Tiffany's new proportions. This is because I need to produce as much content as possible in the shortest amount of time possible. In the future I will of course be doing new scenes for the existing enemies, but for now, I need to get them "playable" again asap. But it's always possible I might change my mind and do a new scene though...

V0.09 (Large update)

ETA: February 2020

Includes:

• 4 new characters (2 male, 2 female – including Ali).
• New Areas (North part of town).
• New Zombie Beast (Z hound) with 1 combat sex scene.
• New “Sleeper” Zombie (2nd place from the 2K Goal poll) with 1 combat sex scene.
• A zombie horde gangbang scene (5 male zombies).
• A zombie sex scene with the new female character(to be named and designed) where you can choose whether to let her turn or save her.  
• A sex scene with one of the new male characters (to be named and designed).
• A fun sequence with Tiffany & Ali... ;)
• Re-rendering combat sex scenes with Tiffany’s new body types for these enemy types: Futa Zombie, Double Dick Zombie.
• New weapon: SMG (10mm rounds).
• Tiffany’s updated blue outfit (slightly police themed ;P) with the additional armor piece (Mini-Skirt)added.
• Stats page for pregnancy info.
• Initial scene gallery implementation.
• QuickReload & QuickSave hotkeys.  
• Hotkey to hide message box at any time during dialogue scenes. 

^Tiffany's complete, new look, will first be seen in v0.09. 4 armor pieces total. 

This will be the version where you'll get to exit the casino and venture into the north side of town, only to find even more trouble of course  ;) Tiffany will spend v0.09-v0.11 stuck in the north side of town. But it shouldn't be so bad since there is a wealth of content to get through and new people to meet (and fuck) :P

This will be a bigger update. There are several things planned for this one that I know a lot of people are looking forward too: Ali, the gallery mode, the two new enemies, a female character that they can watch get infected, Tiffany's new colored bikini with badge and miniskirt, and several other things as well. Should be a good one. :)

V0.10 (Large update)

ETA: April 2020

Includes:

• This version will be a special flashback sequence where you play as Ali when the infection started! ($750 Patreon goal!).
  • At least 4 sex scenes while playing as Ali.
  • Introduce  8 other characters (5 male, 3 female) that were with Ali in the flashback.
  • Introduce an important antagonist for Act 1 of ‘Terminal Desires’.  
  • New swimsuit outfit for Ali to wear during part of this flashback sequence (to be decided by patrons).
  • Make choices as Ali in this flashback that will affect her character in the current time...

^v0.09-v0.11 has a pretty hefty amount of Ali content to look forward to!

Yes, the fabled, long awaited, Ali flashback sequence! So close, but yet so far...

This is something that has been in the planning stages since we passed the $750 goal a long time ago. This version will have new content that takes place inside a flashback where Ali is filling Tiffany in on her experiences so far... You'll be able to go back to day 1 of the infection in Ashton lake (just over 1 week ago) and play several sections of story and gameplay as Ali, and even make some choices there that will have an impact on Ali's personality/corruption level back in real time when we return to her conversation with Tiffany, as she leads her towards where her group of survivors are holed up.

I recently did a lot of planning on this one. My plans are basically 95% set in stone here, but it's too early to reveal too many things. We'll see a lot of new characters introduced in this flashback, but who knows how many will make it? (I do, lol) I'll just say this: if you want to see a bunch of people get fucked up by zombies, then this should be a fun one! I even plan on introducing one of the major antagonist characters for ACT 1 of TD who has some important character ties that should be fun to explore in future versions :) It might just have the biggest dick yet...

V0.11 (Large update)

ETA: June 2020

Includes:

• Meet the rest of Ali’s group of survivors at their safe zone. So far it’s looking like: 14 new characters (8 male, 5 female, 1 Futa).
• Take Ali as a companion during a night mission, complete with full sex scenes when losing/submitting in combat.
• 1 new powerful zombie type that is only active at night with combat sex scenes for both girls.
• 1 sex scene between Ali and a bestial companion of hers… ;)
• At least 2 more TBD sex scenes.
• Quests from Ali’s group of survivors.
• Train some of Tiffany's skills/stats
• Learn to craft ammo from casings & gunpowder
• Hopefully the first voiced lines for Tiffany added.
• New craft-able outfit for Tiffany.
• The end of Day 3.

^Holly Hoare (Age 19 - College Freshman - Pizza Delivery Girl) is one of the new characters. This is a design for another project I worked on, but she will look basically like this. The other new girls will be new designs. I just really wanted to do something with this model that I never properly used for anything else :P

This is going to be a huge update with a whole heap of new characters. It's possible I may have to split this one up and introduce the characters in batches. You'll get to meet everyone and do a couple of quests for a few of them, before going out on your first night mission with Ali as a companion and encountering some cool new stuff :P 

The characters here aren't all set in stone by a long shot though, I'm still accepting suggestions for male characters in this discussion thread. I have plenty of ideas for female characters, though I might add some more when the time comes. I'm still not 100% how I want the dynamic of the group to be just yet so things may change. Also, there will still be some Act 1 characters to be found or encountered later in the game so this certainly won't be the final roster. Especially when we consider this game has an second act planned... 

As for finding a voice actor for Tiffany, and a complete new outfit for her: I had them marked down for this version here last time, but honestly I'll just have to see where those two items end up. I might try to find a VA for Tiffany sooner, and I may not add that extra outfit for a bit longer if it's going to take up too much time. Those two are placeholder for now. That being said, if you happen to know a VA who would be interested in voicing a character like Tiffany who is okay with fetishes like beast and pregnancy content then feel free to let me know. 

V0.12 (Large Update)

ETA: August 2020

Includes:

• Morning of Day 4.
• First possible body growth (for 2nd [final] stage pregnancy or ‘Lactivate’ pill).
• Finally go back to the south side of town via a new outskirts area.
• New optional farm content (milking & beast).
  • Possibly a new type of beast...
• A new sex scene available between Tiffany & George.
• New sex scenes for all the pharmacy girls (Hitomi, Vanessa, Debra).
• Re-rendering combat sex scenes with Tiffany’s new body types for the Zorse.
  

Tiffany will have to sleep at the group's safe zone that night because it's too dangerous for her to travel back to the south side of town. The route through the casino is blocked, so she'll need to take the long route around out in a new part of the outskirts of town, passing back through Jedidiah's farm for some more optional fun along the way. This should be fun to get back to all the current characters again after a long period of time only working on new ones. And yes, (assuming all the pharmacy girls in your game are free) they will all get new sex scenes...

But with who???  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 

V0.13 (Large Update)

ETA: October 2020

Includes:

• Debra’s full combat sex scene & companion implementation.
• Debra’s side quest. (Investigate the Sheriff's Station & her house).
  • 2 new interiors.
  • Unlock a new firearm.
  • Encounter a unique boss with a sex scene featuring Tiffany & Debra. 
• A sex scene with Debra & Big Barney. 
• Dr. Milburn’s quest to impregnate & imprison Debra.
• First part of a small side quest to help Hitomi/Dr. Milburn collect DNA samples for their research…
• Probably something else just so that the all the other girls don't get too bored :P

^That's right, it's Debra's time to shine! 

I will probably do this from time to time when I fully add new girls as full companions. I liked the idea of a version that focused on one character and Debra made the most sense seeing as she's already immune and already partially implemented as a follower. Not to mention I've already planned out a lot of her content with Serrated already and it pretty much all  happened to line up with what I wanted to do around this time after getting back to the south side of town. Each companion girl will get at least one unique side quest, to be completed while following Tiffany, that has a bunch of fun stuff in it. (The Vanessa and Hitomi house quests were not their side quests. I'm talking about proper side quests here.)

Will this version wrap up all of Debra's content? No, there's still plenty more to come, for all the girls, but especially the companion girls.

• Ali
• Debra
• Hitomi (not necessarily to be added in this order.)
• Vanessa (not necessarily to be added in this order.)
• An unannounced member of Ali's group (not really confirmed then is it :P)
• Officer Juggs (ACT 2)

Who else becomes a companion girl will depend on who patrons want to see when I get there. Not every girl will get this much content, only the companion girls who Tiffany can take with her on her sexy escapades. ;)

V0.14 - V0.15 (Medium Updates)

ETA:  November-December 2020

Includes:

• Content to be voted on by patrons.
• End of Day 4
• First possible birth scene for Tiffany (Either Robert or Dr. Milburn's child)
• Start of Day 5

Yes, it might seem a little lazy, but this is something I've wanted to do do for a long time. At least 1-2 versions with content primarily voted on by patrons. I'll still be curating and in control of course. It will be similar to the first couple of versions where I gave patrons a large list of things to vote on and the top few got added. It will be similar to that. And these will take about 1 month of time to develop each. This will be me chance to take a break from all of the planned story content and see what people want to see the most and add it! (To the best of my ability and within the confounds of my world/story.)

And of course the first chance for Tiffany to finally give birth. Still not sure how I'll handle that just yet, but it should be coming around here...

Once again, just keep in mind that this is an stupidly ambitious game and I'm planning for a lot of content spanning and many in-game 'weeks' and 2 'ACTS' (these plans covers up to around the afternoon of day 4). So if you don't see much of your favorite fetish, it's probably coming in spades, just a bit later down the track :) It's also entirely possible that I'm being sneaky and intentionally leaving out parts of my plans for these versions on purpose for spoiler reasons!!! >:D

Thanks for all the support. I'm going to finish planning a few more things, but development on v0.08 should start properly in about 2 days time. I will be posting more polls, and other content for $5 & $10 patrons soon including the start of the anticipated TD Comic for $10 patrons which will have 1 page released per week. There's about 4 commission pieces in the work and I'm honestly a little surprised that non of them are ready yet. I expect to share at least one of them this coming week for sure.
