Just some clarification from a prior episode: when Historia’s mom said “if only I wasn’t a coward and killed it” she was referring to Historia. “Killed it” meant abortion. Some things get lost in translation which is another reason why the subs helps a lot with understanding, especially with how complicated the plot is/will get from now on

I thought you would have by now cus you said you would on the podcast a few months ago. I promise you a lot of the confusion goes away once you do + stuff is much easier to catch when you're reading it rather than hearing it. The quality of the dub script really isn't that good and outside of Erwin, Pixis, and Levi the performances are lackluster compared to the original.
