I agree Falco is trying to learn and understand. Like you said he's very much like Armin in that way.

I think this is probably where falco started understanding much more, and i might be wrong, but i feel like also Gabi understood a bit and felt for her.. it was a touching scene, and the both worlds are kind of put up against eachother, and in the end of the day, they are kids...its not like any of them had any saying of the past..

2024-06-25 23:19:06 +0000 UTCFor Gabi her identity, being a "Good Eldian", is everything to her. It's what brings her comfort, a sense of purpose and pride. In a sense she truly believes that Eldians like her have a duty to prove themselves to the world given the claims made against them by the world. That's why she views Paradis Eldians as devils because in her opinion seem like they are seeking to atone for their "historical sins". That's why she comes off the way she does because she is a slave, for better or worse, to her identity. But Kaya is right in pointing out that Paradis Eldians can't, and shouldn't, be blamed for something none of them had any doing in whatsoever. Especially for past events that can't be undone and for which continued recrimination only pushes the cycle of violence forward. But than again these are kids and the fact they are grappling with these issues speaks to how screwed up the world is for them each.

2024-06-25 05:38:48 +0000 UTCI hate gabi soooo much but I can’t help feeling bad for her. She was raised by her grandmother who was ashamed of being Eldian and taught gabi to hate her own race. Gabi is a prime example of how children are indoctrinated in times of war and conflict.
