She used to send tons of letters to her sister while working in public safety. The sister says that Aki should read that letter. From that we gather that Himeno used to talk about Aki in her letters to her sister where she was trying to persuade Aki to leave public safety and go private cause its way safer than what he is doing right now. It had nothing to do with Akis family cause as you know they are all dead lol
