In fact, this voice acted YT version of the "Lost Children" chapter from the Conviction arc is vastly superior. "Berserk Lost Children Motion Comic Movie" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OCjKZTG1JM **Ailincia give it a try and see if you like it. It's just a taste of a side story from Berserk.** Why? Because they just nailed the voice acting and simply used Berserk's manga panels to tell the story as nothing beats Kentaro Miura's artwork. Trust me its well worth watching/listening too because it wraps you up in the theater of the mind with how well its voice acted. I only wish the creator of this had also decided to do the "Golden Age" arc. Man that would of freaking awesome! With all that said, I will say the music for the 1997 anime is on point and matched the manga perfectly. Especially the Guts theme song.

2024-10-29 20:11:59 +0000 UTCEven if Berserk doesn't win out you should read the manga. Trust me it is well worth the read. As each story arc gets better and better. However it does get very dark at times with the themes it hits upon.
