Wiejce
Added 2024-04-22 11:05:23 +0000 UTCIn the winter of 2022 we stayed in this palace, Wiejce Palace, about 100km from Poznan in rural Poland. There are many palaces in Poland, this one was special for us because we were the only people staying there at the time. It was both eerie and very cool at the same time. The palace was fully staffed, even in this mid winter, less than busy time. We even had meals served to our room, which was one of the best rooms in the whole place, and very cheap too.
We stayed two nights, and didn't sleep for two nights. These pictures were taken in the Warta River at and after sunset. The Warta flowed around the back of the castle and the time we spent on the banks of that river were very quiet and peaceful indeed.
