Despite telling myself we're going to get through all this, the news keeps feeding information. It'll be months before we're finished with the first wave. If some stupid politicians have their way, we'll be open for business far too soon. A second and third and who knows how many waves of Covid will follow while the "money first" greed-mongers sacrifice normal people so their pocketbooks don't suffer. Watching Conservative morons like Trump tell the world that we're going to have everything normal in a few weeks irks me. In times like this, in statements like this I see political liars but yet liars that far too many people want to follow. I guess it's easier to believe that everything will go back to normal really quickly and they won't have to make permanent changes. Sad really at a time when Covid-19 may be the least of our long-term survival problems.
