The Exercise Drink

Gina enjoyed her workouts.  There was a real high that she got from pushing herself to the limit and beyond.  She was still on that high after she stepped from her shower.  She sighed.  It was back to work.  Even though they'd sent everyone home for four weeks while they renovated the entire production facility, Gina couldn't leave it at that.  Driven in her work as strongly as she was in her exercise, she had to finish the current project.

She entered her home office and turned on her computer.  While she waited for the thing to start up, she realised she was thirsty.  Had to fix that.  You didn't think clearly dehydrated.  Noticing a bottle with some liquid on the glass table beside her desk, she popped the top and swirled its contents.  It wasn't water. It smelled slightly sweet.  Clearly, it had been left by her ever-thoughtful boyfriend.

"Thanks for the drink!" she called out.

After several seconds without a reply, she decided he must be out of hearing or tied up on the phone or something.  She'd thank him in a very special way next time she saw him.  She took a tentative swallow and found herself drinking like she'd been on the desert for days instead of just an hour of exercise.  The world began to spin and she lost her balance.  As she fell, she caught the leg of the table to steady herself.  As she lay there, her legs twisted to one side, she felt a twisting in her stomach.  Her new panties, stretched to their limit, shredded as her hips widened and her legs fused from crotch to toes.  Her skin began to change colour from her normal colour to a bright orange.  A strange swarm of sparkles began to envelope her legs, converting the smooth orange skin into scales.  Finally from the tip of her tail, fins sprouted.

To her left, she heard the last of the strange liquid slowly drain out onto the floor. She pulled herself onto the sofa and out of the puddle that had formed.  No telling what more exposure to that stuff would do.

"Did you call?" came her boyfriend's voice as he came from the shower room.  "I was in the shower."

As he rounded the door and caught sight of her, all he could think to say was "Whoa!"
