A heavy paraphrase of suggestion thread idea. Initially it was about portals from Portal, but that wasn't sitting right with me, so switched it up a bit to be more fitting to BSFS. Some sort of synthetic membrane that can transfer mechanical/tactile inputs from one device to another.
