The experimenter in the background has accidentally mixed herself with a fox and is trying to figure out how to unman herself. Unfortunately, she's decided that the best way is to mix someone else and experiment on that person. Why a scorpion? Well, the total difference between the chelicerate body plan and structures and the human mammalian one should make it easy to see the results. Right?
