I would apologize for my reactions throughout this episode, but I'm not sorry. you've been warned, there is screeching, screaming, giggling and giddiness throughout this episode. I was feeling EVERYTHING, at such an extreme. I was living! ahhhh what a great episode and finale to this show. I AM SO SO READY FOR THIS MOVIE. RAHHHHHH 🩶

I agree. I know so many people struggle with heartburn, me included, but it just felt like such a random scene to show for it to mean nothing? so I wouldn't be surprised if something happens there. Can Cameron spin off. lol jkjk unlesssssss. 🤣 I loved that she was asking the questions she was, that was so important, I only became stressed when she was like, I'm not sure and made him leave 🤣

I really really agree with you here. I remember making a face when she was talking bad about him. it just felt like it wasn't needed, especially when she immediately turned around and said that jere was the one obsessed with him. like if you were going to say that, why did you have to put Conrad down right before it? especially when he was nothing but kind and respectful when she met him? weird

Yeah, this movie is 100% NOT gonna be all fluff and Belly and Conrad being unshakably happy together, there's no movie there. This show has gone pretty far off-book, adding a lot of things I liked, one thing being the debutante ball that I was kinda "meh" about, and a couple things I didn't like at all. One thing that would shake things up enough to make a whole-ass movie could be if you're right that John might die and that wasn't just garden-variety heartburn like all 50-60somethings get these days. It wouldn't even really be "off-book" since the book doesn't say that Belly's dad DOESN'T die between the time of the failed wedding and the happy wedding. Remember they made 3 movies out of the 3 "To All The Boys" books, and they made a spin-off show from I think no prior source material that's still going on, so Jenny Han may not be done here even after this movie. Don't know who they'd make a spin-off about tho, everyone seems to be getting their happy ending Good balance in this episode of young adults having adult conversations and deciding not to play it safe, particularly Belly holding Conrad accountable for the way he's handled things. That definitely could be a point of conflict for them in the movie, especially since things have always been so fragile between them, he's TOLD her how he feels about that, but he still might need to SHOW her he's changed. To me, it’s so funny that the title of the last book is “We’ll Always Have Summer” referencing “We’ll Always Have Paris” the famous BREAKUP line in “Casablanca”, and the most beautiful Bonrad moments happen in Paris!

I had another thought. I'm surprised what Denise said about Conrad when she was talking to Jeremiah towards the end of the episode before they kiss. When she said he was going to hold being a doctor over Jeremiah's head for the rest of his life like she was there for the bachelor party in episode 7 and hung out with the guys at the beginning of the night supposedly so didn't she see what Conrad was really like and what kind of person he is? Maybe she was just trying to make Jeremiah feel good in the moment but it just rubbed me the wrong way.
