I just wish he would've grown up a bit and did what he needed to do to stay with Luke who clearly loves him so much. I am thrilled Rory stuck up for her mom to Emily, even if it was small, I think it did make Emily think at least for a moment. that whole scenario was WILD. and Rory is valedictorian!? Yay! 🩶

So much more Gilmore Girls goodness to come!!! This season finale definitely does NOT disappoint! Wish I could tell you about the shirt I'm wearing, but you haven't gotten to that point in the show yet! You're almost halfway through the whole series! I'm enjoying every last minute of it! I'm so glad that you picked this show to watch! Gilmore Girls is the comfort food of tv! You'll be watching it for the rest of your life!!! By the end of the 7th episode, coming this next season... I'll be able to tell you about my shirt! ♥

2025-10-14 00:33:12 +0000 UTCIn case no one else has mentioned it, this episode was meant as a backdoor pilot for a whole show around Jess in California, but it never came to fruition. Jess isn't my favorite of Rory's boyfriends, basically because the third guy is my favorite character in the entire show (even though others have quite the opposite opinion on him) but Jess has been a fan favorite of the Gilmore Girls community in the boyfriend role. (Objective opinion is best boyfriend is Dave, but we can all have our subjective opinions.) i don't know how much of a crossover it would have been between the Yale storyline and the California beach storyline, but I think that it would have been really interesting had both shows existed at the same time. I really like seeing how mature Rory is in this episode. I'm not too fond of Miss Celine, but I know that there are people out there who rave over her.
