I'm so scared.... this makes sense on why Jace was crying! thank you! I did catch that for sure! and also, you're so right, she did say that, so hopefully she doesn't just drop him and yes! I loved the opening scene of Alec and Jace training together and getting to see that bond! 🩶

I love this actor Will Tudor so much he’s really great The Jace crying scene i actually think was more geared towards the fact that he does blame himself for killing all of those downworlders even though obviously he didn’t know he would do that by activating the sword. Clary was telling him he needed to feel bc it wasn’t normal to feel nothing after that but it was def an accumulation of that plus finding out valentine isn’t his dad etc. I don’t know if you caught it but the Inquisitor said they sent Aldertree away for other duties so he’s being punished and is no longer head of the institute Also I think Jace has the expectation (as you do) that Clary would drop Simon immediately for him but you do see clary say “why would that ruin things” with her and Simon if Jace had told her the truth so it’s interesting I think regardless of her feelings deep down she does feel loyal to Simon I also love getting the little hints of the parabatai bond with jace and alec with the intro training scene and the hug it truly shows how far we came from season 1🤣

2023-06-14 09:13:35 +0000 UTCI absolutely HATE this storyline they are starting now. I hate similar plot twist in general and I absolutely loathed it in here. I'm not going to specify but who know they know and it will be clear the next episode :) And, guys, they were hunting down Valentine for a season and half and suddenly they think it's ok to just hand him over to the first guy that comes along? I do understand they thought Azazel had Izzy but even if that was true, this idea was insane. Also, Azazel is a normal name, I was surprised you didn't recognize it... or maybe I was just playing too many fantasy themed video games as a kid :D

First I've read about Azazel, right-hand being of Devil himself, in "The Master and Margarita" masterpiece by Mikhail Bulgakov many years ago. I was scared but at the same time fascinated by him bcs he was the most complex character from Satans retinue. Then I saw the name in other pnr books too.. So yes, name Azazel is closely tied with hell theme.
