2023-07-02 21:21:14 +0000 UTCyeah I was shocked for sure at the two months myself! it feels more like 2 years lmao and I'm so with you- tbf I absolutely do not condone snooping or going through anything at all and was so happy that Alec told Magnus right away and felt guilty about it. I was just- you know, supporting Alec's rights and wrongs in that moment 🤣 you put everything so well and I totally agree with you- I'm so happy that their communication seems to be just be getting better and better so hopefully, that stays going how it is!

I was so touched. idk if I'm ready for it to pick up 🤣

That he doesn’t want to consume Alec’s life and be the reason for his decisions. Magnus knows this is Alec’s first relationship and doesn’t want him to rush into things because he’s in love. Magnus recognizes a Shadowhunter’s life may be short and doesn’t want to take too much from Alec. I don’t think he realizes just how much Alec loves him, though.

And the fact that Alec immediately snooped just proved that they aren't at the point where they could live together. I'm glad he felt guilty and apologized. Considering the debacle with the soul sword this could've blown up in his face.

There’re happening so many things that it’s mind-blowing tt it was all in a such short timeline. And when we consider that fact, Alec asking to move in with Magnus after only 2m is probably a rush decision. Yes, Of course we want them together IMMEDIATELY!! but rationally, IMO, Magnus is right to let things happen naturally .. also he didn’t say no, just not now. *As for snooping around it’s a big no-no for me no matter what. Private is a private for a reason. I’m glad tt Alec realized that he had no right and apologized for that. *But back to the problem at hand ..the issue of time is a real downside of dating an Immortal. Magnus is a centuries-old warlock while Alec is still a young man. Their relationship might be new, but time will eventually become a big concern in a future and after seeing the box that Magnus keeps of his past lovers, I get how Alec can struggle accepting that he can potentially become another memento in the box when he passes away from old age while Magnus will eventually move on and date someone else. That realization is a big concern that looms over their relationship. But we have to believe that if they love each other deeply they will find a way to overcome every obstacle on their way and stay together. *As for Izzy and doctor, I think after all the failed relationships she had with shadow-worlders , the last one being Rafael and all that happened with him, she just wanted something uncomplicated and apart from Shadowworld.

2023-07-02 06:47:50 +0000 UTCI think with izzy and the doctor, she did have that initial flirting and attraction with him but just was denying everything because he’s mundane and it seemed impractical to even entertain. but i do think she enjoys spending time with him and having a very normal dating experience. the well deserved break she needs tbh😭 this is a big practical issue for magnus and alec due to the whole immortal/mortal aspect and it is hard to ignore and there’s no real way to “resolve” the argument. it’s unfortunate but all they can really do is just ignore it and enjoy their time together. also i love anytime they give simon and Jace scenes together bc dom and alberto just have that natural banter and chemistry since they’re such good friends irl and underhill!! (the one who thanked alec) it was so nice to have that moment and see the impact alec had and the change he brought with being in a position of power while being out and proud🥹 next episode actually has some fun moments, but I think with the end of next episode this season really picks up as it goes to the 3x10 finale
