yes, this is an instance that I was for sure, feeling for Jace, I can't even imagine what is going on in his head and how difficult of a time he's going through! it's so sad 😭

I absolutely hate Lorenzo. He has so much insecurities about Magnus that he would rather see the whole world destroyed than help Magnus. And the Warlock Council is no better for falling in with his recommendation. That shows how much divide there is in the downworld. The different groups hate each other. What Heidi did to Simon was the worst. She used the one vulnerable thing about him against him. And to make him feed on his sister is enough to drive him mad with guilt. We need to end Heidi now. Not only is she insane, she is cruel. Now that Lillith has all the pieces, there is no reason not to ressurrect Jonathan. My heart bleeds for Jace. When he spoke to Alec when they freed him from Lillith, he remembered everything he has done. If they finally free him from the owl, he will be devastated with all the horrendous things he's done. Poor Jace. He can't catch a break. The season 3A finale is going to be a extravaganza. Buckle up!

I know, Lorenzo sucks, but both Alec and Magnus know how petty he is and they needed a big favor from him. Remember how they handled him at the beginning of the season? Lorenzo was positively gushing and even gave Alec a tour through his house. I'm just saying that I do believe Lorenzo could've been persuaded if they tried a different tack. But now I'm off to watch the finale - I remember you said a few episodes ago that you wanted to see Alec and Jace fight :D

oooooh I cannot wait for that! 🩶

I'll send it I promise haha! And yes, when Clary did it, it made sense in the book story, but I love how they did the Seelie storyline in this, it makes so much sense in the context of the story, and it is still very realistic, considering how the seelies were. As for Alec's eye color, there was a quote about it somewhere but I can't find it, so I'll have to look for it tomorrow. But yeah it's beautiful!

all I got from this was DELECTABLE MUFFIN OF LOVE! SEND IT 🤣 omg, the chills I just got at magnus' being blue like Alec's eyes. DONT LOOK AT ME 😭 in all honesty, I got way more out of this comment than what I mentioned above lmao I found it especially interesting that the mark of Caine wasn't a Seelie thing but something Clary did, that's super fascinating and I feel like they did a great job changing something up for the show to make them flow a bit better!! 🩶

I do see where you're coming from, but I do feel like Alec went in there being a bit flattering until Lorenzo was like oh we handled that. then Alec was like??? uhm Magnus and I handled that and risked the Institute for you, maybe you can also do us a favor? Lorenzo just sucks. the whole valentine plot line there was just..... the worst idea the Clave could ever possibly have. like really? TWO SEASONS lol and bringing him back to ask questions about something he may not even know about. seems wayyyy risky. Heidi really is the worst. that scene was cruellll! 🩶

RETWEET why can't they ever have peace!?

Yooo new episode! So first fact- the death penalty was never a thing in the books. The worst punishment you would get was deruning, and if there ever was a case with the death penalty, it was never this brutal, and certainly not approved by Jia. The second fact-the seelies never had anything to do with the mark of Cain. Clary drew it on Simon as a way to protect him from the other vampires, who wanted his daylighter powers. They both were fully aware of what they were getting into when the mark was drawn. And also, they don't know where Cain got his mark originally. Third fact-the resurrection of Valentine was NEVER a book plotline. Once he was dead, he was dead, and Jia would never have allowed anyone to resurrect him. Also, Clary would not have the power to raise him. Fourth fact- what they did to stop Jace's possession was much different in the books, and Magnus was not really involved in it. But I like how they incorporated this plotline so they could include Lorenzo. Fifth fact- what Heidi did to Simon's family was never a book plot. The reason his mom pushed him away was because of the Mark of Cain. It turned him into a wanderer, and when his mom found out he was a vampire, the mark messed with her feelings, and caused her to disown him (but it was for the same reason, she believed that Simon was no longer her son, and that it was a demon instead). However, I will say that I really like how this was executed. It was tragic and I sobbed when I first watched it. Sixth fact- Magnus loves giving food related nicknames to people. I don't know why, but he does. He calls Ragnor "cabbage," Madzie "sweet pea," and Clary "biscut." And in one letter to Alec, he called him his "delectable muffin of love." I'm not kidding. I can send you a screenshot- Seventh and final fact- during the Magnus vs. Lorenzo fight, you can see that Magnus' magic is orange in the show. But in the books, each warlock has a specific color magic depending on who they are and their personality. Their magic does not change color, unless they are being effected by an outside force. Tessa's magic is a gray color, which makes sense because her last name is Gray. Ragnor's is green, just like his skin tone. Catarina's is white, just like her hair color, and Magnus' is blue. The same shade of blue as Alec's eye color.

Lorenzo is a petty egoistic fucker that loves to gloat. Why would Alec think that insulting him and threatening him would help? Alec should've just sucked up his pride and flatter him a little. I think he could've managed to convince Lorenzo to help them if he made it about Lorenzo (offer him a medal or something, public praise, whatever would please him). And Magnus didn't fare much better :D And in what world would anyone think that resurrecting Valentine was a good idea? We literally spent two whole seasons getting rid of him and now we bring him back so he could just kill a bunch of people singlehandedly (is he that strong or others that weak?). At least he died again. But however much I dislike Lorenzo, Valentine or even the idea of Lilith and Jonathan the first spot for the most hateful character is Heidi. That scene with Simon's family was just painful.

I am going to rename this the 'Making Simon and Alec suffer show' That is my comment for this video.
