Shadowhunters 3x21 REACTION; it finally happened!!!

I can't wait for the next one, I'm going to be more emotional than I already am right now, I'm sure. I LOVE that malec were bounded together, that's amazing!! and I had no clue that Luke's actor was in It 2, probably bc I still haven't watched it, but who's counting? 🤣ugh, the quote is so beautiful 😭

I loved Alec's 'you were kissing my sister....?' 🤣 AND MAGNUS IN THAT CHAIR BOSSING LILITH 🔥

That you listened to my rants, let me text you about them, watched you what I sent, it has been an honor to be able to watch this series. Next episode I'm going to be posting a huge comment about what happens to each character in the end of the books. It's a huge comment, so I'll be posting it in parts, and I really hope you like it! I loved this series so much, thanks again! So, for the second to last time, here are your fun facts of the episode. 1.) Sebastian never got wings in the books. There was a character who had black wings, but his name is Ash- more on him in the next episode. He never really became a demon. He just- was who he was. He was also born with his blonde hair. Didn't have red hair in the books- ever. 2.) Alec always fidgeted with his fingers in earlier seasons, and the second he got engaged to, he moved his fidgeting to his ring. 3.) Edom did not kill Shadowhunters in the books. It weakened them, made runes mostly unusable, but they could enter it just fine. While Jace and Clary were effected because they had higher concentration of angel blood, and Jace has heavenly fire in his veins, neither of them died. 4.) The binding rune was a real thing in the book! Actually, it was first introduced in the third book, before the war against Valentine. It was a way to unite the Shadowhunter and Downworld army, against his. Magnus and Alec were bounded together, and it's actually why they shared their first public kiss! It only appeared once again, when Magnus and Alec used it to get through their ordeal in Avicii, another hell dimension, during their travels to Shanghai (long story, great book). 5.) Luke had his beard shaved because his actor got a role in It 2, and that required a shaved face. Also, Luke never becomes a Shadowhunter in the books. 6.) The song that plays in the background of Malec's reunion is called Find You by Mark Diamond, and it is one of my favorites to this day. 7.) Because this is the second to last episode, I wanted to end this fact with my favorite quote from Shadowhunters... Ever. It is Cassandra Clare's most famous quote, and I wouldn't be surprised if you've heard it before. "We are all the pieces of what we remember. We hold in ourselves the hopes and fears of those who love us. As long as there is love and memory, there is no true loss." Thank you, Ryann. These books, this show, they saved my life three years ago. They helped me with one of the hardest time in my life, and your reaction has reminded me of my love for them. I can't wait to see what's next.

My brain and heart can't muster any thought or emotion beyond that today :) Well, I guess I like the idea of the alliance rune. Since there's usually such a rift between shadowhunters and the downworlders it seems like a great bridge - sharing nor just your strengths but also your weaknesses. It's a pity it was used only on those that weren't prejudiced in the first place. I feel like this episode was quite lighthearted for this show. Lorenzo the lizard, Simon setting Izzy on fire, Alec being big brother or the fact that he mentioned the becoming a vampire plan (I do remember that you proposed the same plan quite a while back). Also I loved that Alec finally caught on how to deal with Lorenzo - stop threatening him and offer him recognition and praise. It's that simple.

2023-07-23 16:13:50 +0000 UTCI feel so bad for Magnus. All his life he believed he never deserved to be loved. Until he met Alec. They are soulmates!! I really wish Alec became immortal to be with him forever. Only thing I hate about these 2 episodes is they sped everything up. Which sucks. I wish they gave the finale atleast a few more episodes. I want this show back so bad! Also just wanted to mention in the books Alec and Magnus use that rune to be paired together.
