I think I was in shock at one point, I don't really know. I was going THROUGH it, still am, if I'm being honest, so I love that for me. 😭

But both are book adaptations. Lol and I get it, my husband hates Dune now because of how many times I have watched it and watched reactions to it. It’s just so moving to me. And this show was the also an unexpected favorite that I happened upon and just fell in love. So yeah no connections but it’s what I have fallen for. 😂

That I NEED new shows and new seasons! And that I refuse to pay for their services with nothing new to look forward to. On another note that’s why I am all about YouTube and supporting channels that react. I have two litmus tests for reaction channels, this show and the movie Dune Part 1, depending on how good people react to that shows me if it’s a channel that I can vibe with 😂 thank you for being one of those channels!

2023-09-06 21:05:36 +0000 UTCI think it's so interesting that she had that convo with Taylor and then is starting with Jere, you're so right!! it makes me feel like she isn't *as* into him as maybe she should be to be getting into a relationship that can cause as much problems as this one has the potential to! I'm so with you on this! I'm so curious on how they are going to do the potential downfall of this relationship now that she isn't a virgin... or if there will be a downfall. everyone keeps saying that Jenny is saying it won't be sticking to the books. I wouldn't be mad at all if they changed up how the relationship ended bc it really made me despise Jere in the books and I don't want to feel that for him in the show!! 🩶

2023-09-06 20:56:54 +0000 UTCI feel the flashback of Susannah plays a lot to her decision with going forward with Jeremiah... you know she loves him but it's more of a best friend that you don't want to lose. She can't handle the thought of losing him again, which is understandable and she feels that will happen if she isn't with him. Also Remember what she said in episode 5 to Taylor, she didn't want to love someone as much as she loved Conrad ever again. So with Jere it's less of an emotional investment. As for Conrad we know that it's not a healthy time for him to be involved with someone. He is still growing and dealing with his moms loss. I can't wait to see how they further the plot. But it's made every turn it's needed to setup book 3. I do wonder if her not being a virgin will play into the downfall of her and Jeremiah? Also will the infinity necklace be a source of contention for for her and Jere? You know she isn't going to throw it away. We've both readthe books,I loved the book details, with the letters from Susannah to the sour patch kids and the glass unicorn with the broken horn that we see Conrad putting on her dresser. I'm hoping we get that flashback! I really hope the Writers Strike gets resolved soon, that way they can get in track with season 3! I'm going to miss this show immensely.
