I still don't like him - don't get it twisted - but I was pleasantly surprised that he joined in with the crew without giving them crap and then proceeded to sing and dress up and everything. major slay on that front. I'm scared that Richard is working with Zheng.... I feel like this isn't good for us but I also really love Zheng so fingers crossed on that. I loved seeing Stede go for it and end Ned - that felt SO GOOD. and then some stuff was HAPPENING YALL. IT WAS HAPPENING. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. I feel alive and happy! 🩶

Also some fun facts: the kids that Ed gives money to are Taika's irl kids, Stede Bonnet was one of the very few pirates during the golden age of piracy to ever have his captives walk the plank, Ned Low was also a real pirate who lived in Boston MA and then became a pirate in the Caribbean, and according to a tiktok comment out there, Hellcat Maggie is played by the writer/creator (David Jenkins) of this show's wife.
