Young Royals 1x4 REACTION; august is actually the worst.

I'm so sorry, the jealousy, the mistreatment of Simon and others, the kissing Sara, and then THE VIDEO!? like get out and never come back. I just want to pummel him whenever he's on the screen. my heart was breaking when Wilhelm told Simon to delete the texts and whatever they had was done and then him getting high and calling Simon and being so happy that he came and got him π Simon is truly truly the best! I'm so sad Simon had to see Wilhelm like that, especially after the scene we got with his father, but now I'm terrified for the havoc this video is about to cause π©Ά

Well, Simon catches it right away and checks his eyes, "Are you high? What did you do?" How many people without Simon's past would catch that immediately. I too love this show so much. Attention to detail!

2024-04-11 20:32:43 +0000 UTCI love that they can put the characters in certain situations that say a lot about a situation without saying it to the audience directly- like us getting to see the scene with him and his dad right before this and then showing us that. I'm not surprised some people didn't really view it in that way but it hit me immediately that it was probably even more painful for him since he's gone through that before with his dad. I'm loving this show so much!! π©Ά

I can't believe (based on what I've seen) how anyone could hate Simon or love August, but HATING SIMON!? he's a sweet little baby π₯Ήπ©Ά

I'm totally with you, I'm so frustrated and upset that Simon is being treated this way but I'm also not mad at Wille because I can't even imagine what he's going through π©Ά

I really thought that there would be some little ups and downs along the way, but ultimately it would just be a happy, fun, time. stressful is such a great word for this show so far because they are facing such large amounts of stress at this point, it's not fair! ππ©Ά

2024-04-11 20:18:27 +0000 UTCI'm impressed that you caught the emotions Simon must feel finding Wille in that condition after all the years that Simon must have been through with his Dad. Not everybody responds to that. The care that the folks who produce this series take with details is one of the many things that make YR stand out. A small example: Wille is totally uncomfortable with his role as part of the Royal family. Notice at his apology speech, his mother has to nudge him to get started. And then again, at the funeral, she has to push him and say, "Go" or something like it in Swedish to take part in the procession. If you watch carefully (or re-watch a lot) you will see many small things like these that aren't in the text but make the total experience of this story so much more believable. I am almost more in love with talking about the brilliance of this series than watching it...almost.

2024-04-11 13:00:40 +0000 UTCWille breaks my heart as does Simon in this episode. Wille hugging the principal for as long as he did, he needed that from his parents. And him being so shocked that Simon actually came for him because his parents never do. They couldn't even split up just once so the dad could go to parents day while the mom did her queen stuff. This Simon getting the yo-yo treatment. I don't blame Wille but it's still bad. I'll just not say anything about August for right now.

2024-04-11 03:50:23 +0000 UTCi like to refer to ep 1 and 2 of young royals as being the peace before the storm. this show is so stressful from that point on LOL but i love it. the football field scene is such a great and heartbreaking moment. i feel for these boys so much. wille and simon are under so much stress and they dont deserve any of it!
