he's melting hearts. | Ted Lasso 1x3 REACTION

there is just so much to love about the guy!! he is such a genuine character, maybe one of the most genuine characters I've seen on television and I am loving the ride of getting to see these characters experience him!! I am thoroughly loving that people are starting to warm to him and I can't wait until he turns everyone around but I can already feel how meaningful the story in this show is. I adored the scene with Keely and Rebecca and am really hoping we get to see more of that powerful dynamic!! 🩢

i only watched this show over the past couple of days and have fallen in love with it. i love the the whole concept which you spoke about where a reported follows a person around for a day. i recently learnt that "rolling stone" has down this for decades for whoever is on the cover. a rolling stone journalist will follow the person around on their day-ot-day stuff and give a greater insight into their lives. i found out about this first while watching an interview on the jimmy fallon show - i cant remember who was the subject, but soonafter heard of taylor swift speaking of her experience getting on the cover of rolling stone. she said it was high stress for her because it was something she'd always wanted. she was so paranoid that she ended up having two car accidents with the reporter in her car (one her fault, one not). she ended up loving the experience. i think its a really cool concept so that a journalist sees more of the persons actual life and personality rather than sitting down for an interview for a short period of time. that was, people get a sense of the personality of the subject, not just their talent / craft. i think that is kind of reflected in trent's interview of ted in this episode it also has a big say in impacting the public perception of a person.

I love Roy, he's a grumpy, angry, tough guy-hard a$$, ..but deep down he has a heart of gold. Roy is played by Brett Goldstein, he is actually a writer on the show. He said after writing the first five episodes he really felt a connection to the character of Roy, so he filmed himself doing some scenes as Roy and sent it to the showrunners, they liked it and cast him as Roy. Which worked out great for him because he ended up winning back to back Emmys for playing Roy. Next episode is great!
