Added 2024-06-30 22:18:59 +0000 UTCI'm so sorry, I totally get that the thought of your girlfriend sleeping with your brother is enough to move away, I feel that. however, to hear that she said nothing happened and show up to have a talk with her about it and be like, plane is leaving at 6 is A LOT. like calm down there buddy, you can leave tomorrow after the chat if you really feel like you need to. I loved the callbacks to previous episodes that we got in this episode and all throughout it and I was so relieved to hear that nothing actually happened! the noora and vilde scene also was a lot for me to handle emotionally 🤣🩶

The Noora/Vilde scene in this episode is so gorgeous ♥️ Also, the last scene hurts, but I can also never watch it without being at least a little bit like "dudes, I know some people like to play it close at the airport, but you're taking me out of it by trying to create stress!!", lol. The drive to the airport is like 40 minutes without traffic, and he arrives at hers at 5 and is like "the flight leaves at 6", and it's Friday during rush hour and for international flights you're supposed to check in at least an hour before departure?? Make it make sense. But yeah, ignoring my pedantic issue with the unrealistic timing of it all, I think William has just like… shut down completely, which makes it hard for him to listen to Noora. I would have much preferred if he actually heard her at the end of the previous season when she said "I don't know" because that sentence alone says so much, but yeah, I guess the idea is just that he feels like his brother has fucked up everything nice in his life, and he just shuts down and doesn't want to risk feeling like that ever again, or something. Which kind of makes sense, but I feel like her speech should have gotten through to him without him needing like 30 seconds in the car with Chris before changing his mind. But Julie Andem has said she loves a cliche, so I guess that's why the leaving and then coming back, haha.

I 1000% get emotions are running high and she could've said something else to make it better and make it easier to listen, however, you're going to disregard her before she gets to say her peace and side with your brother who you have warned her and us as viewers about as being a massive manipulator? it just felt odd to me 🤔

Instead you get these gentle conversations where you see that Noora and Vilde recognize it in each other, and help each other through it.

I've seen Skam countless of times at this point, and I can honestly say this is the ONLY time Skam has done something I didn't like. Like I love William and everything, but he really should have at least listened to Noora properly, especially after she said nothing happened. I don't know if maybe he was projecting his hatred for his brother onto Noora or something, but it still just doesn't feel right to me. Other than that I do think this is still an amazing episode, just like all the other ones are. I can't wait until I find a moment to actually watch your reaction to this, and I especially can't wait for you to get to season three!!
