Regarding TV shows, my main recommendations are: - Life Unexpected (2010) - Nashville (2012) - Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997; AKA the best series ever created) - How to Get Away with Murder (2014) - Dawson's Creek (1998) - Teen drama that started the teen drama frenzy (and for good reason). - One Tree Hill (2003) - Teen drama with a heavy dose of family drama. Think "Gilmore Girls" if it was based around basketball and Rory had a sibling that was her enemy. - I'm assuming you've seen Friends because most everyone has, but that's always a fun reaction, plus sitcoms are shorter eps. Here are some of my film recommendations: - Now and Then (1994) - A female coming-of-age movie (written by the showrunner of PLL). - Life As We Know It (2010) - RomCom drama. - Tuck Everlasting (2002) - Romantic fantasy drama starring Rory from "Gilmore Girls." - Look Who's Talking (1989) - The first of a romcom trilogy that can be watched by itself. - Overboard (1989) - RomCom starring real-life couple Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn (AKA Kate Hudson's stepfather and mother for the younger people who don't know). - The Age of Adaline (2015) - Fantasy romance. - The Parent Trap (1998) - I know most people have seen this, but if not... - Son-in-Law (1993) - Thanksgiving romcom. - I'm assuming you've watched the Scream franchise because most everyone has, but if not, it's my favorite. Yes, I mainly watch romcoms, but my favorite movie of all time is a horror movie. I don't know why. π
