I absolutely love that sookie always brings up the fact that Luke is into lorelai. it makes you as the viewer not feel crazy for feeling all of the chemistry and just shows that lorelai is the one who's not seeing it! 🩶

you're so right about that! I did agree with Rory when she initially brought up that the whole point was a reimagining and not a direct replica so it worked out how it should have! Ahhh that's so cool! I love Macbeth! 🩶 that is so cool! I absolutely have to get to One Tree Hill as well! 🩶

2025-03-06 20:56:21 +0000 UTCI honestly think Paris and Rory would have done poorly on the assignment if Tristan had been Romeo. The point was a reinterpretation, not to just act the scene out. The assignment involved analysis of themes and application in a different setting. I think Paris being Romeo was seen by the teacher as both a commentary on how men used to be the only ones allowed in theater as well as a commentary on gender and sexuality. I did a similar assignment in high school with Macbeth, only with video. We did a film noir version and I was one of the witches. We wore our black choir dresses. Also I think it’s cute how when a character leaves the show for a different show, they do a little nod to where the character is going. In this case, it’s time for One Tree Hill which is set in North Carolina. So Tristan is off to military school in NC.
