Important Update Regarding The Smoke Room Development

Hello everyone. We have some very important news concerning TSR. Due to irreconcilable differences between George and EchoProject over the past few years, we have decided it will be in the best interest of everyone if we part ways.

This will require a pretty big restructuring of TSR's development which will involve putting it into hiatus for the time-being. Still, we are actively working on how to do this, so it shouldn't last too long at all. We're hoping we can have updates for you this month. In the meantime, we are looking to resume updates for other projects this month.

We thank all our supporters for their incredible patience.

Comments

Really sad to hear that. I've truly loved pretty much every VN y'all have worked on together...but if the lead creator for TSR is gone...I Don't really know what I'm supporting here anymore. Wishing you all the best.

Joshua Bernholtz

Hey. I don't think I've posted here before, but I figured this warranted me speaking up. I guess I'm one of the few who donates to you guys just because; I don't really keep up with TSR or Glory Hounds. But you all, especially the writers on Echo, changed the course of my life with that masterpiece (Thank you, really, Howly and the rest). And whatever your team goes through, know that I will always be a supporter, because of what you've done for me. Stay strong. I know losing an integral part of any team is difficult, and I'd be surprised if you weren't at least friendly with George after so many years, so you might be hurting your friendships too. That's difficult. Take the time you need. I can only speak for myself, but I will be here as long as I can, whatever you make. That's the power your first project had over me. So, I wish you the best and I hope you can recover from this bump in the road. Much love, A Fennec

In my little understanding of what's happening. From what I see on patreon itself. George is the one who's behind the most work, if not the only writing the TSR as he is behind most of it, quickly checked last updates, till 26? If not more, and all have notes of "writing by george". N one of them had also some writing from another part of the team. George is the force behind TSR in my understanding. And now.. TSR is the only thing happening on this patreon for the last year if not two, maybe even more? Have to check. Regular good updates. Good writing. Editing by the rest of the team n storyboarding n ilustrations n all. People ask about Khemia... i forgot it exists. Adastra? That happened years ago. Even howly needs to write in the "update"/announcement" who he is BECAUSE HE IS AWARE PEOPLE DONT RECOGNISE/REMEMBER HIM. Please cut the BS n social correctness n say how things are. I hate that everyone needs to be so carefull these days of what they say, because oh no. Someone on twitter will say how right/wrong he is. Maybe even the twitter mob pushed the story out of nowhere n over exaggerated it all as per usual... n now TSR is supposed to suffer? I surely hope not. Again TSR is the only thing happening on this patreon for years. The way it should be. If someone is to tell me that someone was 'bullied' to do their job because there is a schedule. That they're being paid for n complained on twitter, people misconstrued it all n now there is a hate mob n now this whole thing is happening... just why? If it means I can pay George for his good writing n he can work with the rest of the team or get other talented people to work with on TSR alone without rest of Echo.. oh. But here is the fun part. Who 'owns' TSR then? Will need a refresher how the structure is* but again.. in my head. If it means I can pay only for TSR. N not adastra which didn't had a meaningfully update since.. year? Two? Back? Some superhero stuff I don't want? That'll be great. I love Echo n TSR. If we can split things so we can support specific things that we as supporters want? I'm all for it. I just don't want George to suffer. Please correct me if I'm wrong on any of my assumptions. Provide quotes or proof. I do want to have a right picture in my head. I want to support TSR n Echo.

Kirvis

I'm sure you guys will restructure and strike gold again. I'm rooting for you all

David Scanlon

Its quite sad to see a team that has worked so hard and has done so many beautiful writings to end like this... wish you all the best, supporters and creators of EP's stories, all included. Hope I can come back to an even bigger fanbase and projects here in a few years!

TerryRacc

I admit i was getting irritated with only TSR updates and thats why last year i took my support down to the minimum just so I could still see updates and know when Adastra started getting some love again. I almost went back to 10$ when the Neferu sprits came out back in April. But ya I really loved Adastra and Ill keep giving that little bit of support just for the chance it can be revived.

Xavier Redstag

If that's the case, you haven't gotten your money's worth in a long, long while.

JustHereForContent

There kinda has to be WORK for there to be a work environment, especially considering George was doing almost all the work. I'd RATHER the people I'm paying monthly to complete a project not spit on my dollars by firing the only person contributing to lore. Come now, you there typing like the guy actually did anything when I've yet to see a shred of evidence of any of George's wrongdoings

JustHereForContent

Im here to support the Adastra series.

Xavier Redstag

I mean. Would you really rather the people at EP continue working with someone who does not create a good work environment?

Staticalmite

This is a really bad business decision on account of The Smoke Room being the only thing getting updates, and being the prime reason so many people are subscribed to this project here. If this isn't resolved and George isn't added back onto the team by the end of the month, I will have to cancel my membership. I did enjoy Adastra and Echo and the comic book one (which is glitched), but there haven't been updates in a long while.

JustHereForContent

It will behoove the project to reconsider this decision.

Endymion

I’ve really enjoyed TSR, but Adastra and Arches are the reason I subscribed. I’m very happy with those stories, just not with how long we’re going between releases. Will this allow more of the team to focus on these stories?

Xzygy

Totally and utterly devastated to hear about this. I don't follow anyone on twitter so I'm completely blind sighted by this decision, and TSR is the main reason for my Sub so I think I'll hold off on my subscription for now to see how things shake out.

FlurryBC

I’m not a consistent patron but I did it every month I can. Pretty sure that TSR will get completed and you will get support since a lot of people are rage-subscribing to the patron. However, I’m also going to suspend the little money that I give to The Echo Project. Extremely let down with the decision made and very demoralized to see all the harassment and death threats that George is receiving and has been receiving from some time ago on social media by a group of very consistent and vocal haters. All fueled by ex-coworkers under the banner “In the past he treated me unfairly”. I didn’t agree with his idea that “The Environment now is making the lives of NSFW artists and writers harder “. But after the harassment, bad faith takes, or just straight up lies about his work that he has been getting for years. Isn’t it obvious why he would think like that? And now with this announcement. Isn’t maybe some truth to what he said? I still think this “Bad Take” is not entirely true, but pretty sure that this just cemented this “Bad take” on his mind even harder. In spite of everything, I understand that parting ways with someone that has a hate mob attached to him that will smear everything he does in constant bad faith is a clever thing to do. Because if things don’t go their way, they will pressure any Echo project that he works on with more disingenuous comments until they get what they want. However, if this is what you stand for, I am not for it.

for88883

Extremely disappointing. George brought life to TSR. What a waste

Cotton

Yeah I got charged, even though they said they wouldn't do it, what a load of crap.

Xenin

The most disappointing decsion. George, if you can still see this, your efforts in TSR are amazing, no one can deny that, and I will NOT support a TSR without you writing and thoughts. The mudslinging and hatred on Twitter sucks.

HaraKuma

The team seems to be overworked as is so it's a tragedy that you are getting rid of a long-time member in the midst of it all. One can hope that it's not just an overreaction to the recent quarrel between George and Cienie creators - that would be unwise at best.

Andrew

George didn't 'make' TSR, far more work went into it than just him writing it. And even then, he did do a Majority of writing on it, that in no world means he owns the property.

Staticalmite

Sad, but understandable. Sounds like the anti-NSFW reputation spread by Twitter purifurs over TSR wasn't the sole reason for this decision, so that's good to hear. Still though, I found George's writing of the VN and the NSFW aspect very engaging and thoughtful. Whenever he'd talk about the influences and source material, you could tell he wasn't portraying sex for the sake of it. I think anyone pretending otherwise would be acting disingenuously. I think the attention to that detail set TSR apart from a lot of furry visual novels and was even on track to be my favorite from EP. That said, yeah I do hope he learns that he doesn't need to have an opinion on everything. It is petty Twitter drama, but it didn't need to happen. And I've been familiar with a handful of baggage regarding his treatment of his workers. I figured the drama crap wasn't the only reason for his firing. Hope he learns his lesson here. (And btw, y'all might want to make sure to actually set up your Patreon to not charge us after making the announcement to pause them for this month).

Pascal the Otter

Not sure this was the wisest move to make, I don’t know much on the issue of the controversy of GS but I believe a proper apology would have sufficed publicly and talking of the matter with him, I think removing him may have been an overreaction but I can be certain I don’t know the whole picture. I agree a lot of people that he had a big part in making TSR, if your going to to keep his work going forward I hope you show credit for him in his part, but if it’s to much and officially cut ties with him then perhaps a whole fresh start is in order. I practically join in patreon to support TSR because I fell in love with the characters and the story, I’ll still pledge just to keep my support for the VN since it’s the first one I’ve ever read and loved. And I wish the whole team best of luck moving forward.

Animus

This definitely would've been a tough decision for the Echo Project but at the end of the day, making a FVN is a collaborative art form and no amount of writing skill can justify George's unfair treatment to others in this space. This was the correct decision.

Meowcino

So when will interea be done? been over 2 years

Sam widing

sorry to hear this, his efforts in tsr are amazing, and the tsr was the only reason to keep me subscribing, for now I'm not sure...

レーフ

honestly be best to unsubscribe till something is updated. otherwise just paying for nothing.

Sam widing

Totally unwarranted. This is complete overkill for what is ostensibly petty internet drama and given how easily he was let go makes me wonder if this decision was either the result of some sort of internal strife within the team we haven't been privy to, or an overreaction to George as a perceived liability. I understand certain people on the staff are going through some hard times at the moment and I'm wishing them all the best but this is plain poor decision making.

Burgbear

What is the reason for dropping the very active writer on one of your few active projects? Please tell me this isn't over some deadass twitter drama. I'm gonna have to look into this to determine if my subscription continues. George did great work and I hate that this is happening to my first patreon project. I hope there'll be enough professionalism for a public statement from both sides (edit: one sided is not looking good for EP)

LLVPandaSevron

I completely understand. So you will be surrendering all merch sales, intellectual property rights, and other income streams associate with the project to the man who has made it, right? Right??

Jay

I'll try to keep up to date of any updates from following on itch.io. But considering TSR was the only thing seriously being worked on I'm going to unsubscribe until I know something is actually being worked on. It seems like none of the projects right now are alive anymore.

RayParker

This, honestly. I have no clue about any of the drama behind the writer (don't care, either), but TSR was the only one of the projects that was actually seeing some kind of consistent/regular update. It seems the only person who was doing any work got fired because of... pressure from people who don't even subscribe to this Patreon? Were this anywhere else, it'd be those in projects who haven't provided updates in years who would (and should) get fired, not the only one who's providing content.

Padvaxtag

George was the only one actually working. When was the last time Adastra/Khemia/Interea updated?

Padvaxtag

He'll be missed, loved TSR.

Padvaxtag

Your last build update that wasn't TSR was released eight months ago. I don't see a reason to continue membership with TSR on hiatus. Best of luck to your team and George.

Keiott

I mean, i would also find it difficult to co write with someone like George.

ABC

Wish nothing but the best of luck to the future authors of TSR and the rest of the team! My subscription stays firmly as it is.

Isa_Lion

A humbling experience may await him. One can only hope he adjusts his behavior to be more sensitive and makes a Zukoesk comback

Tigen Reis Lionhart

There is only one real option to get control of it with the least amount of old owner smell. A full story retcon/wipe.

Tigen Reis Lionhart

There have been other claims made about GS and his misconducts or for lack of better phrasing, sharing his opinion(while unaware that it has a louder role to play). It's possible it just was too much to deal with constantly and bleeding out support based on the writer's personal actions and not the work itself.

Tigen Reis Lionhart

I had originally unsubscribed after learning of how George would mistreat others behind the scenes in the furry VN space. I didn't feel comfortable that my hard-earned money was going towards someone such as him. Hell, I didn't even resubscribe when the arches short story released, I stuck to my guns, and glad I did! I hope he improves, and that he manages to find a good job elsewhere. But I am more than happy to resubscribe now :)

Staticalmite

best of luck to ep!

Morrow

As I just read this message just now, I am sad to hear that George has left, but if it is for the best and what the echo team project has, then I respect their decision. I have enjoyed the works that George has brought out for the smoke room, while I have also enjoyed the other works that was brought out from the Echo series, Adastra, and the other novels taken place. As an amateur writer myself, I can understand that writing visual novels is definitely not an easy task. Seeing how this will go forward, I hope the best for all of the echo team as you all figure out and navigate these waters on the right path. I still will support you guys regardless of what has happened because you all from the echo team have given me and many others something to look forward to for many years, including with Echo, and I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the entirety of everyone has done so far. I hope that the entire echo team can read this, and please, I want to let you know that I am grateful for all that you have done so far. I am excited to see what future things will come down the line. Looking forward to the next update when it arrives.

Redrover Blues

Redd wasn't writing Cliff's route even when it was his job to write it.

Lingling

I love the whole teams' work overall, but I like George's work and his thoughts as whole. I know that behind the scenes there's been personal issues with him, but I feel like axing him over minor drama over him expressing very minor disappointment about a project he liked feels wrong to me, especially since there's a very vocal SFW hate mob that constantly is poking at him (if he sees this: George, I love your work and posts but Twitter is not good for you). George looks to be the person behind most of the story for TSR, without him the project will be very different. Even worse with how the project was already getting close to completion after so much work. Considering the huge delays with the other projects, and with Khemia and Interea being the only projects I really am interested in, I honestly think at the end of the month I am unfortunately going to end my patron status for the time being.

Cake

So, the only guy on the team with a consistent output was fired. And his 90% completed project is about to be interrupted indefinitely.

Kyogen P

I mean... it's a game there the main character works in a brothel. I think there should be plenty of extreme horny things "kinks" because people will demand that in a brothel. Obviously Psychological horror is what echo is known for. It's just a mix up between that and the other thing, that could make this TSR hard to make. Idk if I'll cancel my subscription. But like this is a terrible move idk why this had to happen? Edit: ye after looking over this TSR is the only thing that has been consistent in the echo project, I love every echo thing, as in every game set in echo, and I love every person that made echo, but just firing a writer that worked on TSR man? Idk, I'll cancel my subscription, I've only been here for only one month and a half but still. I'll resub if he wants to work on TSR and that's it, or if you'd announce other games set in that universe. But I only subscribed to see the TSR development and arches. I love Sam's personality, I mean he's in the header of the three characters in your projects. I didn't even think the sex scenes were that hot, they were emotional, I mean look at that last scene when William was involved, Sam pushed him to get into it, resolving his childhood fear. That didn't seem hot to me,it was emotional. So that will be written off?

Lysander Valerius

I originally subbed to support Adastra, but TSR is what's kept me here during the long (and frankly absurd) update droughts. With TSR on hiatus or worse, it's unclear to me what I'm supporting at this point in time. Not to be coarse, but I've seen mostly intermittent radio silence and empty commitments concerning Adastra over the past 2 years. The last Interea chapter update was now almost 2 and half years ago. A Khemia build was teased for March but never materialized. It's difficult to place my faith in projections that the hiatus "shouldn't last too long at all", when the track record on other projects demonstrates a different pattern. Schism or no, George was communicative, delivered what he promised, and at a regular cadence. You have some very talented creatives and I've loved these stories and characters. I wish all of you well, but absent better management, I need to disembark for now.

Ren

This isn’t just bcz of twitter, the guy’s been avidly toxic to the other members of echo project, why should they have to sacrifice their own comfort for one rude person??

Dawgmatic

What was the reason behind him getting fired btw?

HiTechRabbit

afraid this is where i'll be checking out. as much as i would love to continue supporting the project after all these years, the handling of this and many surrounding situations has been extremely disappointing. all i'm left wondering now is how the other projects will be forced to pick up the slack, as tsr had been, up to this point, the only active ongoing project actually receiving consistent updates, as well as the fates of the many artists/programmers/editors who contributed to tsr's development now also being left out in the cold.

avian

This has singlehandedly given me hope back for TSR. It´s the reason why i´ve decided to resub. I´m really hopeful that TSR can be fixed and done the justice it deserves. I do not harbour any ill will towards George as a person, and i wish him the best in any endeavor he decides to pursue, but as a writer he has been consistently dropping the ball with the writing for this. TSR simply was not the VN he tried so hard to turn it into with the updates these last two years. I hope he is able to write the uncomplicated, smutty plot and characters he so clearly wishes to write. Still, i am very glad with this. The new writer will have a ton of work ahead of them, but i have faith in you guys. (As a last plea, bringing Redd back to write Cliff´s route would be amazing. I know he´s probably busy working on GH, but a man can dream.) Thank you.

ABC

Sorry but I think George is the writer, just pay him to finish it or else it wont be the same

Mario González

Super happy with this outcome (it's why i just resubbed). I hope the project and the team can fully recover from all the things george has said and done, whether it was made public or not ❤️

KwaverKat

>"It's over" "We'll work something out" I hope everyone involved is able to fulfill their own visions in whatever future projects they take up. I hope George gets / has been properly compensated for the enormous contribution he has made to the project. I hope you had good reasons behind the scenes for this decision. For the moment, I trust that you do. Even so I think this has been a long time coming. From my glances through the keyhole, it looks like George's ego is too big for him to fit in a collaborative writing project like this. Just a sad situation all around. All the best.

Bench

Really a shame how this turned out. Not sure if it was the right call or not, but the story of TSR won’t receive the right justice it deserves with someone else trying to reimagine how it concludes. Not sure if its fair for EP to pickup the pieces either, when its built of the backbone of George’s creative writing as thats what truly makes TSR special in my opinion. Someone else remaking the story with their ideas just wont feel like justice is being served, and instead just “leaching” of someone else’s work just to keep the project alive. Regardless, I hope the very best for the future of this project, but I know wholeheartedly, after “Build 35” it will not feel like it’s the original pathway the story was meant to go. This decision really does make me wish I could finish the story even in only written format how the author intended it, even if it means no imagery to back it up just because of how well it has been put together with its story and character developments. With that said, I wish you all good luck, and we’ll see what the future holds now.

Some_Coyote

Twitter ruins everything smh

Treble

George has been your most consistent writer for some time now. Do you plan to share where we can support him on his future endeavors, considering his writing is the primary project we were supporting?

Lingling

As a big fan of TSR I’m truly sorry that it has come to this, and hope everything works out without George. Although I’m a bit pessimistic about the fate of TSR, but I’ll still continue to subscribe and be patient of the future at hand.

Courtney Strangewolf

tsr is going to go downhill because of this decision, I and I'm sure we all love history like I did, it's one of the worst choices I've made to date

Toradama Wiid

Utterly heartbroken over this. Heartbroken, and furious. Everything I have seen has been either an overreaction, baseless mudslinging by reactionary children, or worse. George's writing is what brought me to the incredible world of Echo. His characters are what enchanted me to their struggles and hopes, and the horrors that they fight against. I'm truly disappointed that this is the decision you came to. I can't in good conscience continue to support a group that will kowtow to a reactionary, clout-seeking, vocal minority. You've made a terrible decision, and it fills me with sadness and anger that now I must bear the consequences of having something I love be taken from me.

Furlock O'Donnell

While TSR is what brought me to subscribe, I have been a huge fan of the Echo Project as whole. I have bought your merch from Pawprint Press, and had hoped to buy more in the future. So please believe that it hurts me greatly to say that I will be cancelling my subscription. While I understand the desire to protect ones brand, axing a creative who put years of work into a project while said project is in the final stretch is unconscionable. Doing so over twitter drama is especially so. TSR will always have a special place in my heart and seeing that it will never get the ending it rightly reserves is heartbreaking. I truly wish Howly and everyone else the best, but in the absence of a good justification for this decision, I cannot in good conscience continue my support.

ScionOfSkoll

People here don't pay enough attention to this part: "irreconcilable differences [...] over the past few years". This is not a decision taken on a whim solely because of a recent event. This is negativity and internal toxicity that has been bottling up for a long time. I have seen at least a few public fights and evasive hostile behavior on the Discord server from George to his co-workers/contributors. I'm actually surprised it took this long. It must've been a PR nightmare when he's been souring relationships left & right. Either way, the hard part is that George did write 90% of the VN, even if Howly (and Redd?) had a hand in the concept & prologue. What now? Is TSR going to keep the current writing, or is it going to be rewritten?

Vic Viper

these comments tho

SUG

Words fail to describe the depths of my contempt for your decision, and this affair as a whole.

Oz

Disappointing. I just subbed, and George's work on TSR was what made me do it. Hard to know what happened behind the scenes, but from what I've read publicly, this seems like an overreaction and a huge misstep. Regardless of if TSR continues at some point in the future, the backbone of what it is won't be the same without the original author's voice, and it's not something I'll be supporting. Take care.

robbobert

I personally think this was the right move for a number of reasons and I don’t blame you for doing what had to be done, your hand was forced. I still, as I always have, maintain confidence in this team to put out quality work, no matter who’s working on what and can’t wait to see future updates, whenever they may be!

DakotaYote

Good luck with that, cancelling my sub

tasty platinum

I will add that it would be bitterly ironic if TSR went the same way Blackgate did.

Yindi

I don't think we can say with certainty that this is exclusively about the recent George stuff, I mean that's definitely the reason this is happening this week and not the one before or after, but I assume- erm, I *hope* that we're only getting a sliver of the real story here and that this was an inevitability in the long run. That would make this easier to swallow.

Taco Muncher

Dunno how this project can continue without its head writer at the helm, and I'm not planning on sticking around to see how the project develops without him. On a more personal note, I find it deeply disappointing that this was the breaking point for the team, and that the story and publishing rights won't be given to its original writer. Irreconcilable differences or not, watching the "fanbase" celebrate this is disgusting.

Dandy

I understand why you needed to fire him. But the Smoke Room was the only VN project that had consistent updates month to month. Truthfully you guys will have to pick up the slack on your other projects. Silence and our understanding isn't really option. You will need to find a competent writer to finish this up as it is your bread and butter.

Rodrigo

oh boy. well I hope the noted "irreconcilable differences over the past few years" mean this is really just the crescendo of a long running melody, because from the outsider perspective this seems like a touch too strong of a reaction to the recent drama. anyway, I hope this all works out. I mean you fellas probably know better than me what's best for the project- uh- at least I can hope that you do.

Taco Muncher

As a huge fan of all three Echo stories, this feels like a huge blow. I will still support EP, since this patreon supports other creators whose work I respect. Given how big GS’s role in TSR’s development seems to have been, I’m very curious to see what happens moving forward: if anyone new is brought on to the team, how Murdoch’s route will be handled (since he’s basically GS’s OC). Best of luck to everyone involved. This must have been hard.

Yindi

Very unfortunate news. But a wise decision since he's been shrouded in controversy for the last few years. And with this recent drama I think it was finally time to drop him. Hope things will get back on track soon

DarsolSaber

At the very least I wish that dropping the author would have just meant dropping TSR itself and just letting George have it as an independent project. Even if it continues, it certainly won't be the same, and it will be hard to read knowing that 70% of the novel and the entire backbone for what's left was written by an author who was fired in disgrace on labor day while the project kept sole custody of his work and will continue to profit off of it. Really disappointing.

Sepron

Isn't it ironic to let go your lead dev of TSR on Labor day, where the main story of it is about exploitation? The EP patreon has been running for a while with TSR being the only consistently updated work, yet the reaction to settlle down the "fanbase" controversy is to remove George from the team and rip off the team's efforts from the past few years.

cerb

This must've been a tough decision to make, and I can only imagine how stressful it is to make such announcement to us. This is for the best and hopefully it will be worth it in the long run for the VN and its team, best of luck! 💖

Miro

Absolutely ridiculous. Well, I'm out. Good luck.

wblo

Best of luck on both your and his future projects

Geoffrey Learn

This is a foolish decision that I will absolutely not support. This is the second time you've been caught caving to a pressure campaign by malicious external actors who want to see EP fail. Your inability to navigate this situation gracefully or professionally gives me no hope for this patreon or any content associated with it. I can no longer monetarily support a project that gleefully throws its workers under the bus like this, especially while you've simultaneously been using their labor to get through the hard times when other projects were in a dry spell. Shame on you.

Recremen

Gooner behavior

cirrxss

Yeah unfortunately I'm gonna have to check out here. TSR was the only project with anything near consistent updates, so frankly I don't have much faith in the remaining team being able to complete it, let alone do so keeping in line with the consistency of the writing so far. Good luck to the team, especially GH, but this is the end of my support.

Sepron

it s not about having an opinion, we all have those. It s about having an opinion as somewhat public person. If as a student u curse in a class, you will what? get send to a school headmaster? But if a teacher curse in front of class, he gets fired. Straight. Up. If your opinion is very negative about something it can literally lead to problems for other people, if you s*** on someone, others will listen to you, because you are The XYZ and it s not the firs time there is some beef between George and someone :/

Draco The DRAGon

This is extremely disappointing to hear as a new patron who primarily suscribed for updates on TSR. The timing is unfortunate but I understand the need to make sure the team gets along well and avoid problematic individuals. Some more transparency about the reasons for the split here would be nice, though.

im_voxel

Really disappointing to hear, as the strength of TSR's writing is what lead me to subscribing to the Patreon in the first place. While I cannot know any behind the scenes details that might have contributed to this, from what is public knowledge this seems like an overreaction.

ScionOfSkoll

TSR has been the only project to receive steady, consistent updates, so this is definitely concerning. With routes coming to an end, how will you maintain consistency in voice and vision?

Ren

This decision was for the best and I think will definitely lead to a better VN

Crazy Jimothy (6’2)

so I guess having an opinion about something can get you removed from the team. Highly disappointed in the decision and I will be cancelling my subscription.

nicev

please don't cancel it. That would destroy our emotional stability. especially because of how the last update was.

Sr.Bejarano

I'm very sorry to hear this! I can easily be patient for further releases, but it sucks that you have to go through these issues. I'm curious as to what irreconcilable differences these are, but I have no intention to pry if it's something personal.

Markus D

Damn i was lowkey looking forward to the end of the nik route this month
