Good news, bad news...
Added 2017-12-30 20:51:54 +0000 UTCOk guys, so 1 more day until this year ends...some things have to begin but some other things HAVE to end too...
Each passing month here on Patreon I have worked hard to bring you the Waifu of the Week, some Uncooked works, all the WiPs I can, some game collaboration projects and more recently, the comic -Afterglow- and I have enjoyed every day of this.
On the other hand, it has been... difficult... handling 1 full-time job, 1 part time job, working as a private teacher and Patreon at the same time, I wanted to do a thematic image for Halloween and for Christmas but never had time, because you know...work, and just yesterday I noticed I missed the Waifu Kitchen anniversary (was Nov 8 and couldn't even do a celebration image) here is the first post I made:

So I had enough... for all of you people who support me and because I love working in the Waifu Kitchen, I'm not quitting.
And that's why this incoming year some things HAVE to change:
- No more part time job for me.
- I will open my own website (maybe small at first but I'll make it grow)
- I will get some adds or something for the website (so I can get some income from them, to cover some of the expenses)
- I'll remove adds as more and more patrons pledge (never liked the adds but for now they will be a necessity)
- Thematic images are coming this year in celebration for every occasion (E.g.: Valentine's Day, Oktoberfest, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas).

As always Mr. Holloway, thank you for your support, I really appreciate it, I do think it's the right call, mostly because of what you already noticed, my stance changed from only a hobbie to a formal project and I am, as you said, taking another step, because I decided that I want to keep moving forward doing what I truly want and eventually going even farther (animated series, games etc.), This step will be very painful for my wallet, but is necessary to have more of what no kind of money can buy, time.

2017-12-31 21:45:11 +0000 UTCyour situation is utterly different than mine, and as such i don't have any specific advice that i can lend. what i can do is say what so many others are thinking and feeling in regards to your decision: "if you feel it's the right call, then i support you." over these past months i have noticed how your attitude towards your art has shifted, what seemed to be a hobby that you enjoyed(and already had a knack for) became more of a passion project that gave you the experience/practice you needed to grow as an artist. now, you say that you need to take another step that's frankly scary big. go for it! know that while i can't speak for my fellow patrons i CAN say that I will be here to see how it works out. the site may fail, it may succeed. you may hit a problem that can not be foreseen, it may be smooth sailing. either way i'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out because i have faith in you. just make sure to take care of yourself and don't burn out, if you need to take a break, or just vent & bitch go for it. just don't over work your self, don't go dark and cut off communication from us, and don't lose faith in what your doing and why. i've been following/commissioning some artists for YEARS now, let's see if we can't add you to that list.
