Noira "The Last Daughter" -The Kitchen Helpers-

Some of you have asked a few times (several times) about my OCs, questions like:

- Do they have story?

- How you came up with the idea of "Kitchen Helpers"

- Is it only for the waifu kitchen thematic thing that you call 'em "helpers"?

- Are they ALL related/entangled/in love/relationship with "The Cook"?

- Are they sisters or something?

- Will they appear on the game project you're making? 

There are some other questions but I think you get the general idea.

In this post I'll include Noira's design character sheet and I'll be posting soon Viera's character sheet too, Nera's after that and finally I'll introduce to you my new helper "Ina" (She is tecnically not new, I designed her some time ago, but this will be the first time you'll ever see her).

In fact I already left hints on some of my past works, like this one (just look at her belt accesories):

So let's answer some of those questions shall we?

- Do they have story?

A: Yes, It's called "Afterglow" in fact I already posted a couple of written chapters and a few (8 to be exact) comic pages back in 2017-2018 but I had to pause the Afterglow Project because back then I received some work offers for a few game projects (not mine) "Familiars Training", "School Daze" and "Fairy Tale Adventure" but all of them got cancelled eventually for one reason or another, (you can still check some of the work I did for those games here on patreon, oldest posts under the tag "Game") many things happened between 2018-2019, I opened a website with the help of an old friend which was running fine for some months then said friend in charge of the site just abandoned it (still trying to recover the site up to this day) lost my job, later got hired on a new job, ups and downs (many of you know how it is) by 2020-2021 the CVD-19 situation and all that came with it, later got a chance to finally develop a game on my own and you know the rest, in short, Afterglow Project is still paused, to this day and believe me, I would VERY MUCH like to continue it, but for now... let's say the day only has 24hrs.

- How you came up with the idea of "Kitchen Helpers"

A: Mmm, it's quite simple, since I was very young I had a lot of different jobs, a LOT, and at least half of them were related to food, (and I love food) so I have spent quite a few years on the kitchen, let's say I wanted my own kitchen... and that's where the idea for "The Kitchen Helpers" came from, now I finally have my own kitchen, The Waifu Kitchen.   

- Is it only for the waifu kitchen thematic thing that you call 'em "helpers"?

A: Kinda, "Helpers" has turned out to be my favorite way to call 'em, like an affectionate nickname.

- Are they ALL related/entangled/in love/relationship with "The Cook"?

A: They are, a great deal in Afterglow revolves around the romance between The Cook and The Helpers, The Cook will eventually find each one of these ladies and will have to make a choice: to quickly grow in power to accomplish his mission by not sharing a piece of himself and becoming Terra's true guardian or to give a piece of himself and his own power to bring each one to life, he can still grow into a powerful being but it will be much slower and through a LOT more effort and pain.

- Are they sisters or something?

A: They are not sisters.

- Will they appear on the game project you're making?

A: Only cameos, they will not play part in the main story. 

And lastly... some of you seem to care about my OCs and want to know a bit more of their stories, so... here you have a fragment on Noira's story (I'll do the same when I post Viera, Nera and the new helper Ina)

Noira "The last daughter"

On the story of Afterglow the world as we know it has already ended due to "letting the hate between humans win" (you can read the prologue on my written stories under the tag "Afterglow"), until only 2 souls remain alive on the whole planet, a couple, this couple walks the Earth for days, weeks, months and even years looking for other survivors with no success and to make things worst they realize the planet is slowly dying without knowing why, one day, almost with no hope left and already on Death's door they accidentally discover a way into the planet's core, the Earth's own soul "Terra" is what they find, realizing our planet is sentient and in pain they ask her how to save her from dying, she explains how to do it and gives them the knowledge to make it possible along with part of her life force so they can carry on with it. To be able to save Terra they must create the ultimate life form, a being that can harvest the life energy Mother Terra needs to regenerate herself, but they create 2 beings instead of one, because the couple fears that the ultimate life form can become vicious and fall into insanity if it remains alone for too long, driving it to madness and creating Terra's destructor instead of Terra's saviour, hence "The Cook" and Noira" are created through 99 years of hard work.

The plan works and Terra's saviour is created and then brought to life at the cost of the life essence of the couple... the last 2 souls that still remained in our world sacrifice themselves to give life to "The Cook", when presented with a choice of power, or a life partner The Cook following on his creators footsteps does the same thing they did, he gives a part of himself to bring to life "Terra's Last Daughter" Noira,

And that's Noira origin story.

I hope you enjoy this little fragment to know a bit more about my OCs stories, for those who asked directly for this, my apologies for taking so long to answer.

As I said before on this post, I'll post the rest of the helpers along with a fragment like this for each of them, the next one will be Viera.
