Viera "Spice of Life" -The Kitchen Helpers-

First Noira, now it's Viera's turn, here's a fragment of her story.

Viera "Spice of life"

Having the titanic task of restoring the life force of mother Terra, The Cook and Noira find themselves coming home from one of their missions, they did as they usually did; opened up "The Gate" to come back, jumped in and traveled through "The Corridors", but something was off, something was different, The Cook felt as if the current carrying them through The Corridors was changing, Noira realizes the current is not taking them back to Terra's core but somewhere else... they were right.

The path was rough but at the end they came out unscathed and when they both looked up to try and guess where they ended up, a night sky is the first thing they saw, looking down they noticed they where standing in a man-made road, a path made of carved stone, it was ancient and untouched by human hands for what it looked like a millenia, maybe more.

Exploring around for a source of energy to fuel up The Gate again the couple finds some kind of ruins. These ruins appeared to be very ancient and to their surprise they didn't quite match any civilization they could recognize with their inherited Terra's knowledge, a lot of unanswered questions is all they had, nonetheless they kept exploring and found some kind of pyramidal building resembling a temple.

After a few hours descending deeper into the ruins, they notice the deeper they go, the nature has taken more and more of the ruins, which is an anomaly because Terra is still dying, the fact that there's still a place in their planet still thriving with life intrigues and fascinates them, descending even more the sound of running water can be heard, the view of the ruins turns greener and the air becomes fresher, calming and pure, now the couple must know what's causing this.

At the lowest level they find a crystal cave, very similar to Terra's core and at the center of it a rounded, egg-shaped, polished crystal emitting a faint warm light. Surrounding it, all the nature in the hollow seemed to embrace it from a safe distance, like the nature itself was protecting it. The pair approaches the enticing centerpiece, but they are soon prevented from going further by an ethereal apparition.

The female-shaped spectral being is notoriously resemblant of mother Terra, fazed, The Cook asks the being who she is, to which she responds.

"I'm Gaia, or at least... I used to be"

Observing carefully, the couple realize that "Gaia" is broken, cracks all around her ethereal body like a damaged porcelain doll are visible, Noira asks if she wants their help and how can they help her, but Gaia shakes her head stating that is too late for her.

"What you see here is just a remnant... the last echo of my existence, of the world I used to be..."

In shock, both of them realized what the words of the soul in front of them meant... Gaia was just like mother Terra, a horrifying chill crawled their spines, this could be Earth's fate if they were to fail. The remnant explained... what is happening to their world has already happened before, here and on herself, that's why Terra knows how to create a saviour, Gaia tells them she wasn't so lucky, her own saviour could not fulfill her purpose due to a betrayal from one of her last daughters, weak, alone and full of fear and regret from not being able to succeed on her mission the saviour was the last soul standing on the planet and with what was left of her strength she sent her along with the remnants of her own essence through The Gate to her sister... Terra.

Noira and The Cook try to talk, but words simply don't come out from any of them, still in shock, The Cook turns his head to the light emitting crystal, Gaia tells him that her saviour is in there, preserved but... damaged, the despair she felt was far too great for her mind to be able to stand it.

"She has lost all memories of her life as my saviour... at least consciously... now she slumbers giving life to her surroundings with her own until the day the last of her essence and mine give out..."

Gaia explains the couple that she knows The Cook is Terra's saviour and she wishes to help her sister to be saved so she doesn't have to share the fate that befell her. 

"Touch her crystal until she disappears... her life force will pass unto you and you'll receive all her essence and power, as well her experience and... broken memories, only then can she truly rest in peace..."

The couple walk approaching the saviour's crystal, there they find a beautiful young woman with long white-silver hair and fair skin, Noira touches the crystal with her hands and instantly pure emotion surges within her as in a matter of seconds she receives visions and fragments of the saviour's remnant memories, she falls on her knees crying uncontrollably with her hands still on the crystal, The Cook places his right hand upon it as well. As with Noira the fragments and memories are bitter and painful, he sheds a tear and stands up, quickly removes his hand and Noira's, Gaia asks why they stopped, her saviour it's not even close to disappear, The Cook replies that he wants to help her there's no way she can rest in peace like that, he wants to give her a second chance, Noira stands up, wipes her tears, turns her head towards her man and nods.

"Let's help her" she says.

The Cook nods his head in approval, Gaia is visibly surprised, her expression changes into a sweet smile while The Cook asks.

"What's her name?"

Gaia replies.

"Viera, The Spice of Life"

The Cook takes Noira's hand and interlocks his fingers with hers, places his hand on the center of his chest and rips a piece of his own soul, with it he punches through the crystal reaching Viera's body. Everything turns white and Gaia disappears.

"Thank you..." she says while the last of her soul vanishes.

A few hours later the couple awakens, the former saviour still sleeping, they hurry back home to welcome Viera into her new life, Noira inquires if she will be fighting alongside them too, The Cook responds.

"If she wants... but something tells me she will, I'm sure she still got a lot of fight in her"

Noira smiles and while looking at her new partner in the arms of her lover says.

"I'm sure she will, but whatever the choice, we'll make her happy"

The Cook looks at Noira smiling, he smiles back.

"I'm sure we will"
