That might be true, just wanted to give my opinion here. I agree that 2 paths are less than the blackgate ones, but so far the different paths have had pretty different events with the characters as well, so I wouldn't assume the 2 paths would be so entwined as you might expect. But, this is all the creator's knowledge, I have no idea :)

I most certainly think this is the best route to go. Like, I can't express how much I agree with this potential choice. It does indeed satisfy both groups and provides two halves of the same tale. Besides, you can always try this to see how it works and, if you find it isn't working, just drop Leo's and go back to completing Carl's all the way. Plumm Bum, I personally feel the same way about Blackgate, but my count, there are now 15 separate possible character routes in that game, all of which are being updated across the board. It creates exactly the feeling that you're talking about, but I really don't think at all that this feeling would happen with Echo, considering that we're only talking about 2 routes, not 15.

Personally I'd vote against that, I believe the choice to complete one route would give the best feeling from the game even though it's under developement. In blackgate for example, I still feel it's very jumpish, and I don't feel like I'm following a story, more like I'm looking at "what did they change for this guy?". It gives more continuation to the story, like a tv series, if you finish one of the lines at the time. But those are my personal thoughts :) then again, as a writer you may prefer variety to help getting out quality work, so there's both sides to it I guess

I think Carl's should probably be done after Leo's. I understand Carl won the vote, but Leo is the ex-boyfriend, he's the main reason Chase is there (He organised the get-together IIRC) and he has a lot to do with Chase's backstory.

Because the vote was so close we ARE considering doing them both, sort of switching off between the two routes. It gives us a little variety while still keeping the story focused. We'll see...

Ehehehe, oops. I think I was the day late one. I wanted to vote for Carl, but then I thought "Man, I don't want my favorite dude's route to end so soon", so I went and voted for Leo instead. Except I took a nap and woke up at like, 12:45 AM on the last day of the vote.
