Idk about that one id still say goku is still a better fighter gohan has incredible team fighting skills but if you are talking abour 1 on 1 combat no power ups goku wins thru his experience and his fighting intelligence

Goku, his entire career was 1 vs 1 and he struggles to fight as a team. Goku and Gohan each have different mentalities that drive their power. Goku is driven by an ambition to get more powerful and to challenge himself and push his limits. Gohan is driven by love and and loyalty. Both are capable of huge power ups in battle but Gohan has a wider diversity of training by the time we reach the tournament of power. Vegeta has always known Gohan could have surpassed everyone, but chooses to coast on his hidden potential and previous experience and trust in his team to get the job done.

Cuz honestly all Piccolo did was just shoot 2 SBC’s and 1 didn’t do Jack shit lol Gohan basically fought them both at the same time and didn’t really get embarrassed like he did earlier in the tournament.
