I know you said Gohan has made some questionable calls in the tourney so far but Friezas had his moments too. Believe it or not, current Ultimate Gohan scales to Golden frieza in power and Gohans rage is what makes him go nuts, so seeing how Frieza loves to antagonize probably would’ve pushed Gohan to beat him

2023-07-25 23:01:34 +0000 UTCGoku has ultra-instinct, Vegeta's form here is called Super Saiyan Blue Evolved. In the manga (not animated). Vegeta gets Ultra Ego- which is based on God of Destruction power. Ultra-instinct is based on divine angel power. It's further explained that ultra instinct has levels of mastery (the grand priest being the utmost master) and whis being maybe 2 or 3 beneath him. Ultra instinct can be combined with Super saiyan transformations (the one we see in the Tournament of power is the base form). Vegeta's Ultra Ego form is 1 form that exponentially increases his power based on the amount of fighting, damage he takes, and anger he feels. It's a fighting power thats without limits and Vegeta is in control- though it is fueled by emotion. Each of their transformations and training styles reflect their different philosophies, background, and values even though without question both are good people now.
