I just realized that since the tournament is held in a dimensional void any of those Hakai balls that go over the edge will go on for eternity since there is nothing for them to collide with

2023-08-01 21:38:58 +0000 UTCI'm not so sure, that could be justified specifically with Vegeta/Goku being the targets. They've both already seen Hakai and from Beerus, who is far stronger than Top. Secondly, Top just turned into a God of Destruction for the first time - it could also be argued he's barely even tapped into the power, it's just him adjusting to it. You're talking about a master of the technique like Beerus who had been using it for millions of years vs. Top who just used it for the first time. And not against any ordinary opponent, but against one of the strongest fighters in all the multiverses, not just their universe. Even against the fastest person in the universe Dyspo, they can use fighting strategies to predict his movement despite Dyspo outclassing them in speed. So simply having Hakai power doesn't mean you're unstoppable. It's the ability to wield it properly and/or overwhelm your opponent. Top was not nearly the level of Beerus. So overwhelming was not an option. We've also seen that the Hakai can be stopped with enough power difference too. So, personally that doesn't bother me as I can find countless reasons to explain that away. sorry for the word wall btw

2023-08-01 19:33:31 +0000 UTCUnderwhelming top fight all he kept doing was spamming hakai and didn't even do anything with it cause when beerus fist did hakai it had meaning and now since top spammed it and vegeta was avoiding it made the move less special
