2023-09-01 00:54:33 +0000 UTCApparently the "eating fish elegantly thing" is a big deal in Japanese culture in a similar sense of being at a fancy restaurant and knowing which spoons/forks to use for which dishes and having proper dining etiquette etc. I was wondering why they said "its hard to eat fish" so I had to look it up since I never found it particularly difficult to shove fish in my face. Yuji really is just the nicest guy ever. Their group dynamic feels very different from other anime. The way they try to make plans, decide NOT to hang out, then end up meeting up later when the situation changes feels so realistic. I also like how hard the author swat down anyone trying to ship yuji and nobura together lol. Literally told the audience "not even if hell freezes over"
