KaiserNeko is obsessed with Dragon Ball so I have trouble believing it wasn't intentional. Maybe they'll call it out when they get to that episode on that thing that they're doing.

2023-09-18 23:52:57 +0000 UTCI wonder... DBZ Abridged Episode 59 gives Cell the line, "Gohan? Out of the entire list, you pick him?! He wasn't even on the list! Yamcha was on the list!" Yamcha responding, "Wait, why was I--?!" then Cell says, "Half-time entertainment!" Bandages here, upon Goku's entrance, says, "And who are you supposed to be? The half-time entertainment?" Considering this was initially Yamcha's match, I wonder if KaiserNeko or someone else at TFS was inspired to write the line for Cell due to this line in DB ep 72, or if it was just a coincidence.
