My feeling on why Roshi told King Piccolo where the Dragonballs were buried was so he'd know where to look exactly for them so he didnt have to search around the area, because remember Chiaotzu and Tien are there. Chiaotzu is no match for Piccolo and Tien cannot fight in his current state with being spray with Roshi's.....Sleeping gas? That is his way of hoping to keep them hidden from Piccolo.

2024-02-05 18:06:35 +0000 UTCI love how the villain is actually smart and anticipates the heroes' plan and thwarts it with a simple action, but it's only because this is Dragon Ball so of course a clever plan that involves no fighting could work.
